Apple Releases Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones

Apple has unveiled the new Studio3 Wireless Headphones from Beats by Dr. Dre, bringing a new type of active noise cancellation to the Beats line for the first time. These cans use Pure Adaptive Noise Cancellation, which monitors the wearer’s environment to adjust noise cancellation in real time and also compensates for glasses, hair, movement, and various ear shapes. Wireless connectivity is accomplished over Class 1 Bluetooth, made possible by the Apple W1 chip, for seamless pairing with compatible Apple devices.

Pivoting, cushioned earcups with venting provide comfort for extended wear, and the light (9.2 oz) weight further prevents fatigue. For convenience, you’ll find music and call controls built in to the earcups, as well as direct Siri access. The Studio3 Wireless last up to 22 hours with Pure ANC on or 40 hours with it off, and can provide up to three hours of playback on a ten-minute charge. A carrying case and micro-USB cable are included, along with a 3.5mm RemoteTalk cable with in-line controls for a wired connection.

The Studio3 Wireless is available for preorder from B&H Photo in blue, red, white, or matte black. Will you be picking up a pair? Tell us why in the Comments section, below.

I will buy only if the base and volume levels are the same as the US version of the Beats Studio 2.0 Wireless.
