Bose Headphones and Speakers for Mobile Entertainment

The legacy of Dr. Amar Bose, M.I.T. professor and founder of Bose Corporation, continues with an update to the flagship QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise-Canceling Headphones. Available in Black or White, the headphones feature a re-engineered sound signature with the company’s Active Noise Cancellation, Active EQ, and Triport technologies to deliver a deep bass and clear treble response. The headphones have also been redesigned to be lighter, with suede-like ear pads for longer, more comfortable listening sessions. The ear cups fold for improved portability with the included carrying case and come with a three-button in-line microphone remote control for navigating media and answering calls on iOS and other mobile devices.

For listeners who want a wireless on-ear headphone solution, Bose recently released the Soundlink On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones. Available in Black, as well as a White/Blue color scheme, these headphones have a 30' wireless range using the integrated Bluetooth receiver, which requires only 1.5 hours to recharge for 15-hour battery capacity or quick recharge for two-hour battery capacity, in just 15 minutes. They also use the company’s Triport technology for clear sound delivery and Active EQ circuitry to adjust the headphone volume automatically as the level of the background noise changes. With convenient fingertip controls on the ear cups and audible voice alerts for caller ID and remaining battery life, these headphones are designed for active daily use.

For an even more compact solution that incorporates passive noise isolation and also uses the Triport design, Bose offers the SoundTrue In-Ear Headphones. Available in White, Black, or Cranberry, with the option of either an Apple iOS or Samsung Galaxy in-line microphone remote control, these in-ear headphones are designed to stay in place by hugging the ridges of the ears using the best fit from the three included sets of different-sized StayHear Ear Tips.

Bose also recently released the SoundLink Color Bluetooth Speaker available in Black, Blue, Mint, Red, or White. The speaker has a 30' range when paired with your Bluetooth-enabled devices such as a smartphone, and will also accept a wired connection through its 1/8" auxiliary input. The built-in USB-micro rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to eight hours of play time.

For high-quality portable sound through a wired iPhone or iPod lightning connector, Bose is offering the SoundDock XT Speaker. Weighing just 2.6 lb and available in White/Dark Gray, as well as White/Yellow color schemes, the SoundDock can function simultaneously as a digital-to-analog converter while recharging your mobile device. A 1/8" auxiliary input is also available for connecting to devices without a lightning connector.

The company also sells a line of Wi-Fi enabled portable Music Systems in the SoundTouch Series. With built in Air-play and the ability to stream music from your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone over your local network using the SoundTouch App, the SoundTouch Portable and SoundTouch 30 are great for recalling your favorite Internet radio stations on the six available presets. A 1/8" auxiliary input is also available for wired operation. For sound reproduction, the systems use a combination of dual opposing passive radiators and low-profile drivers in a slim enclosure. Both models feature an OLED screen, and the portable version includes a built-in rechargeable battery that can provide 2.5 hours of playback on a single charge.
