CES 2017: Strength and the Honor 6x

Power, performance, and affordability don’t usually come together in the world of smartphones, but Huawei is bucking the trend with the Honor 6x. This handset features an expansive 5.5" IPS LCD screen with 1080p Full HD resolution for watching videos, viewing photos, and playing games, and 32GB of expandable storage for your apps and media. The microSD expansion slot doubles as a second SIM card slot, making the Honor 6x ideal for international travel.

Under the hood, the Hisilicon Kirin 655 chipset has two quad-core processors, one running at 2.1 GHz and the other at 1.7 GHz, in a big.LITTLE configuration that provides speed when you need it and power-saving when you don’t. 3GB of onboard RAM keeps performance snappy.

The front of the phone has an 8MP camera for self-portraits and video chatting, while the rear has a dual-camera setup. A 12MP camera with 1.25 μm pixels captures your image, while a secondary 2MP camera enables you to get the ideal depth of field for your shot.

For wireless connectivity, the handset is equipped with 4G LTE connectivity, as well as 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. An expansive 3340mAh battery powers the device for up to 23 hours of talking. The Honor 6x is available in gray, gold, and silver.
