LG G7 ThinQ Smartphone Introduces AI Cam for Smarter Picture Taking

Trick your family, friends, and followers on social media into thinking you’re a photo pro with the LG G7 ThinQ Smartphone, featuring AI Cam technology. LG’s AI Cam can recognize the subject of your photo, and then offer you 4 filter options to choose from. It can recognize up to 19 different subject types, such as whether it’s a close-up shot, or if the subject is a person. The AI Cam can even recognize when it’s too dark, automatically adjusting the brightness for you.

LG includes a bunch of cool camera features with the G7, so you can take control and have some photo fun, too. The G7 gives you two rear 16MP cameras and a front-facing 8MP camera. The front and one rear camera are super-wide-angle cams that capture more of the world around you. Speaking of which, you can also use the camera to learn more about the things you see. Utilizing Google Lens, you can snap a photo to learn building names, landmark history, translate text, and more.

When you’re not taking pics, you can enjoy apps and games on the 6.1" QHD+ FullVision display and its 1,000 nits of brightness, which makes it readable even in direct sunlight. LG goes edge-to-edge to maximize the display for a nearly borderless look, but if you’re not a fan of the notch, you can bring back the notification bar for a more traditional look.

The G7 ThinQ certainly can capture and display some amazing images, but that’s just half of the experience. On the audio side of things, the LG G7 boasts a built-in boombox speaker that boosts the bass by up to 39% compared to the old G6, for room-filling sound. When you jack-in with your favorite headphones, you get to really see what the G7 can do. Enjoy clear and crisp sound with the built-in hi-fi quad DAC, or become immersed in your movie or game with support for DTS:X 3D surround sound.

These are just some highlights of a smartphone that’s jam-packed with features. Powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 processor, the G7 ThinQ also lets you take 4K or slow-motion videos, connect with 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or NFC technology, and protect yourself with a built-in fingerprint sensor or facial recognition.

The unlocked, GSM+CDMA/LTE-compatible LG G7 ThinQ smartphone, and everything it has to offer, is available now at B&H, in your choice of Black or Platinum.
