Sony Introduces New Xperia Smartphones

3Share

Sony has launched new models of its popular Xperia line of smartphones, all running Android’s latest operating system, Nougat, and all sporting powerful cameras for taking mobile photos and videos. The Xperia XA1’s 23-megapixel camera with a 1/2.3" shoots through a 23mm-equivalent f/2.0 lens. At the front, an 8-megapixel camera shoots high-res selfies. The phone runs on a 2.3 GHz octa-core processor and has a 5" HD display with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM.

The Xperia XZs ramps up the specs, with a 5.2" 1080p HDR display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, two SIM card slots, and a Snapdragon 820 chipset. Its 19MP rear-facing camera is endowed with an f/2.0 25mm equivalent lens and Motion Eye, which enables 960 fps capture at 720p resolution and 4k video recording at 30 fps. At the front is a 13MP camera with an f/2.0 lens of its own.

Its big brother is the Xperia XZ Premium, which has the same cameras, storage, SIM card slots, and RAM as the XZs but swaps the display for a 5.46" 4K panel for ultra-high-resolution video and imagery and the Snapdragon 820 for the newest model, the 835. Both the XZs and XZ Premium are water- and dust resistant.

Hi Masa -
