The Zeiss VR One Plus: Virtual Reality with Precision Optics

Immerse yourself in a world of pure imagination with the Zeiss VR One Plus Virtual Reality Smartphone Headset. This sleek headset uses your smartphone and a variety of apps to conjure up games and videos that appear to be 3D or even 360°, with head tracking that changes your view as you move your head, just like in the real world. Its universal tray accepts most smartphones with 4.7 to 5.5" screens, producing an approximately 100° field of view.

Fitted with Zeiss lenses, the VR One Plus doesn’t require mechanical adjustments of its lens positioning. Instead, its “eye box” accommodates individuals with interpupillary distances from 53 to 77mm, as well as glasses wearers. For audio, users may use Bluetooth headphones or plug in wired headphones, thanks to the VR One Plus’s large cutouts. The headset’s front shield is translucent, allowing your phone’s camera to function when using augmented reality (AR) apps.

For improved comfort and stability, the VR One Plus has two head straps, one that encircles the head and one that goes over the top of the head. Both are adjustable and removable. The foam that cushions your face from the VR One Plus is removable, as well, and can be replaced if necessary. Finally, air vents help keep the inside of the headset cool to prevent fogging. The Zeiss VR One Plus is available for pre-order from B&H now.
