Gator Cases Microphone Stands

Gator Cases has announced its new Frameworks line of stands for guitars, microphones, speakers and keyboards. While it’s easy to write stands off as unexciting, there are few greater frustrations on stage or in the studio than cheap stands that tip over the moment you put a mic or instrument on them. Having quality stands will help you capture your audio clearly and will also assure that your equipment remains damage free.

The Frameworks line offers a variety of desktop mic stands and, depending on your needs, has something ideal for uses ranging from podcasting to broadcasting. The Mini Tripod stand includes a mic clip suited for most wireless mics and is intended for podcast interviews. The 9” Fixed-Height Desktop Mic Stand with Round Base, as its name implies, has a fixed height of 9” and a solid 6” round base. It has a bigger brother, the Desktop Mic Stand with 6" Round Base and Twist Clutch that features a twist-clutch adjustment and a variable height that ranges between 10” and 15”. Both have cable-management clips and fit US and European mic clips.

The 10” Roundbase stand can be adjusted between 36” and 65”, with its soft grip twist clutch, and has a weighted base for added stability. The Deluxe version of this stand features the addition of a clever height-adjustment clutch that allows you to adjust its height with just one hand, making it ideal for live performance. Gator also has you covered with a tripod stand that has adjustable height and a soft grip twist clutch.

If you want to use one of the Roundbase stands, or have your own base stand, the Frameworks line includes a fixed 26” and a telescoping 30” boom arm. Both of the booms’ lengths and angles are individually adjustable and both include cable-management clips.

Beyond mic stands, the Frameworks line offers guitar, keyboard and speaker stands, too. The Heavy Duty Utility Table has a unique look and supports keyboards, mixers and DJ coffins weighing up to 132 pounds. It has a built-in bubble level, so you can always be assured your gear is sitting on a level table. The Deluxe Aluminum Speaker Stand has Gator’s LiftEEZ self-rising center tube piston that helps lift the speaker for you while you’re adjusting height. It can handle speakers weighing up to 125 pounds. The A Style Guitar Stand is a versatile instrument stand with a rubberized cradle that can hold a single acoustic or electric guitar, ukulele or violin.
