New Super-Telephoto and Wide-Angle Zoom Lenses from Nikon

Nikon has added two new models to their expansive lineup of NIKKOR lenses, "a super-telephoto 800mm f/5.6, and a wide-angle zoom 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5. These lenses incorporate advanced optical construction, including aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements, to help provide the greatest image sharpness with minimal distortions and aberrations, while SWM (Silent Wave Motor) autofocus motors and manual override systems give you precise control over the focusing abilities."

Three New PowerShots from Canon

Canon added  three new point-and-shoot cameras to their popular PowerShot line of digital cameras. From B&H InDepth:

"The PowerShot ELPH 330 HS Digital Camera, available in black, silver and pink, offers a 12.1MP high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and the DIGIC-5 Image Processor for sharp, color-accurate photography and full HD 1080p video capture.

The Canon PowerShot ELPH 115 IS provides a 16MP sensor and an 8x optical zoom lens. Available in black, silver, blue and pink, the ELPH 115 IS offers portability (less than 1” thick) to go with its high-resolution imaging.

The PowerShot A2500 Digital Camera. Like the ELPH 115 IS, it is a very compact, easy-to-use camera with a 16MP sensor and 720p HD video capability. The DIGIC 4 Image Processor provides fast performance and—together with the sensor—enables the capture of images with high-resolution detail and true-to-life colors."

Seven New COOLPIX Cameras from Nikon

Nikon has added seven new cameras to their lauded COOLPIX line of compact digital cameras. "From fully-loaded advanced performance cameras that handle like DSLRs to all-weather point-and-shoots, this batch of cameras is feature-heavy, and offers something for everyone."

Great New Audio Products Announced at NAMM 2013

The NAMM 2013 show wrapped, and as suspected, there were a host of new product announcements. The new Korg MS-20 Mini was one of "the most exciting announcements of NAMM 2013. It’s a true monophonic analog synthesizer, designed by the same team that made the original MS-20."

The new iConnectMIDI4+ "acts as a hub for all of the gear in your studio, including Macs, PCs, iPads, iPhone and iPod touches. Its rear panel features four traditional MIDI ins and outs, and if you attach a USB hub to its USB port, you can connect all of your USB-based MIDI controllers."

Kemper introduced their new Profiler products at NAMM 2013, which build on the reputation of their innovative Profiling Amplifier. The new Profiler series completes the package by adding the option for a built-in, 600-watt amplifier.
