Delkin Devices offers a lineup of memory cards comprising both SD/SDHC/SDXC and CompactFlash cards. A huge range of capacities and data transfer speeds are available. Faster speeds enable improved performance during HD video and RAW image capture, especially in continuous and burst shooting modes, and when using advanced modes like slow-motion recording. Fast cards also improve workflow efficiency by speeding up card-to-computer file transfers. All the cards feature built-in write protection to prevent the accidental overwriting or loss of data and are built to withstand extreme temperatures. Plus, they all have built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) to automatically detect and fix transfer errors, as well as reliable Advanced Wear Leveling data management, which ensures that data is written evenly across various regions of the card—thus preventing excessive wear and prolonging card life. Delkin’s memory cards are designed, assembled and, whenever possible, manufactured in the U.S.A. Additionally, they’re backed by a lifetime warranty.
The SD 115x card has a 2GB capacity and features a maximum read speed of 17MB/s and a write speed of up to 9MB/s. It’s rated for use in temperatures from -13 to 158 degrees F. SDHC Pro 163x Class 10 cards are available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities and offer read speeds up to 24 MB/s and write speeds up to 17 MB/s, with minimum transfer rates of 10 MB/s. These cards, too, can safely be used in temperatures ranging from -13 to 158 degrees F.
The SDXC Pro 266x Class 10 card features a capacity of 64GB and read and write speeds up to 40 MB/s and 20 MB/s, respectively. Like the Pro 163x cards, this one has minimum transfer rates of 10 MB/s. Like the 115x and 163x SD cards, it’s built to last in environments where temperatures range from -13 to 158 degrees F.
Delkin’s SDHC/SDXC 400x UHS-1 cards feature capacities of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The UHS-I designation denotes speeds faster than those possible with standard Class 10 cards. With this one, read speeds are up to 65 MB/s, while write speeds max out at 41 MB/s. The cards can be used safely in temperatures between -13 and 158°F.
The SDHC/SDXC 600x UHS-1 cards are also available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities, though they provide faster maximum read speeds of 90 MB/s. The fastest write speed of the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB cards is 45 MB/s, while the 8GB and 16GB cards top out at 30 MB/s.
Delkin makes SDHC/SDXC Elite 633x UHS-1 cards in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. This series is capable of maximum read speeds of 95 MB/s and write speeds of 80 MB/s; however, the maximum write speed for the SDXC 64GB card is 45 MB/s. Operating temperature range is -13 to 185°F, though the cards can be stored in even more extreme environments at temperatures as low as -40°F. Additionally, the Elite is resistant to static, vibration, shock, UV light and salt spray.
Also available is the 4GB CompactFlash Pro 305x UDMA card, which offers read speeds as quick as 45 MB/s and write speeds up to 35 MB/s. UDMA technology allows for faster, smoother photo and video capture and transfer from card to computer than would otherwise be possible; UDMA memory cards will achieve their fastest transfer rates with UDMA-compatible host devices. This card is UDMA 6 compliant. It can safely operate at temperatures from 32 to 158 degrees F.
Next, we have the faster CompactFlash 500x UDMA cards in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. These have maximum read speeds of 75 MB/s and write speeds of up to 40 MB/s. Also UDMA 6 compliant, they, like the Pro 305x card, will be fastest in devices that support UDMA.
Faster still are the CompactFlash 700x UDMA cards, available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Featuring top read and write rates of 105 MB/s and 67 MB/s, respectively, these cards are also UDMA 6 compliant.
The fastest cards Delkin offers are those in the CompactFlash 1000x UDMA series, available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities. With these cards, you’ll see exceptional maximum read speeds of 150 MB/s and write speeds of 80 MB/s. The 1000x cards are UDMA 7 compliant. Additionally, they are treated with a Tekta coating that affords greater protection against the elements: It makes the cards waterproof, allowing for submersion, and also safeguards them against dust and extreme temperatures. Additionally, the Tekta coating protects against shock, vibration and static.
