CES 2018: Godox Introduces the AD600Pro AC/DC Monolight

Godox brings us an enhanced version of the AD600 with the introduction of the Wistro AD600Pro AC/DC Monolight. This 600Ws unit has onboard wireless TTL compatibility with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, and Panasonic cameras. Power, LED modeling light control, radio channels, or groups can be controlled at up to 328' with the purchase of a Godox XPro or X1 Transmitter.

The AD600Pro backs up its wireless TTL capability with solid core features. The fan-cooled head recycles in 0.01 to 0.9 seconds with power adjustment over 9 stops (1/256 to 1/1). The light intensity of the 38W LED modeling light is adjustable too, and it is color correct. It can be used as a constant light source for video, thanks to its warm color temperature of 4800K with a high TLCI rating of 93, indicating a precise and accurate rendition of color. Flash durations as short as 1/10,100 second allow you to freeze action in sports, dance, or creative studio work. The AD600Pro is also High Speed Sync compatible, permitting synced shutter speeds up to 1/8000 second to control background light or the use of wide apertures.

Power options are another great feature. The AD600Pro can run on AC current, thanks to the inclusion of a power adapter but it can also run on the included lithium-ion battery when mains power is unavailable. The battery will give you up to 360 full-power flashes.

The AD600Pro comes with a reflector, and the AD600Pro's Bowens mount allows it to use modifiers and accessories from the many manufacturers that use that popular mount.
