Foolography Unleashed Smartphone Camera Remotes

Control your DSLR or mirrorless camera remotely from your smartphone with the Unleashed Smartphone Remote, from Foolography. Available for select Nikon and Canon cameras, these remotes attach to the camera body via USB and then provide a 130' wireless range via Bluetooth for controlling the camera remotely using an iOS or Android device. An intuitive app-based interface enables remote changing of exposure settings, including shutter speed and sensitivity adjustments, along with the ability to trigger the camera’s shutter remotely. Suiting time lapse and long exposure needs, exposure intervals can also be set using the app; automatic exposure ramping benefits making consistently well-exposed shots over a long duration.

In addition to exposure controls, this remote system also adds geotagging capabilities to your workflow, with the ability to add your mobile device’s location data to the metadata of your photos. Multiple cameras, up to six at a time, can be controlled via the app, too, and the Unleashed remotes draw their power from the camera bodies themselves, avoiding the need to charge or install batteries for use.
