For years, photographers have longed for a solution that will enable them to carry camera equipment and personal items in a backpack, while at the same time keeping the camera gear readily accessible. MindShift Gear comes to the rescue with its new line of rotation180° backpacks. These packs feature waist packs, which rotate 180° from inside the backpack’s lower compartment to the wearer’s front. From this position, a photographer simply unzips the waist pack’s lid, selects a camera and lens, and makes the shot. Simple!

To accommodate the preferences of different photographers, these backpacks range in size from 16 L to 37.5 L. Progressing from small to large, beside carrying a variety of other gear, the 16L Trail holds a compact DSLR or mirrorless, small tripod, and an iPad mini; the 22L Panorama holds a DSLR, 2 lenses, tripod, and an iPad; the 22L Travel Away is less photo-orientated, includes a removable waist pack and is designed to carry a 15" laptop and two 10" tablets; the 34L Horizon holds a DSLR, 2 lenses, tripod, and a 10" tablet—and the king of the hill, the 38L Professional, which holds a DSLR, several lenses, tripod, with plenty of space left over for electronics. The Professional may be purchased in a Deluxe Kit that includes a padded, upper compartment, photo insert, a top pocket, tripod suspension kit, and an attachment strap kit.

All models feature top compartments for personal gear, front and side stretch pockets, breathable padded airflow harnesses, lightweight nylon materials, and a limited lifetime guarantee. A versatile lineup, photographers may select models with a hydration reservoir pocket, curved back panel, aluminum stay, and internal frame support. In addition, photographers may purchase accessories, such as separate rain covers, memory card wallets, photo inserts, and more.
