Leica has announced the D-Lux 7, an impressive upgrade to its compact camera line. Boasting a 17MP 4/3" MOS sensor, it is capable of producing high-resolution images under a variety of conditions while remaining easily portable for travel. Its 24-75mm equivalent f/1.7-2.8 Vario-Summilux lens, with Optical Image Stabilization, equips users to shoot a variety of subjects even under less than ideal lighting conditions. An integrated 2.76m-dot electronic viewfinder and 3" 1.24m-dot touchscreen LCD screen makes focusing during capture, as well as reviewing images, a breeze.

The D-Lux 7 adds a new "post focus" 4K photo feature, which allows you to tweak focus after exposure, as well as UHD 4K video recording at 24, 25, or 30 fps. USB charging and integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for use with the Leica FOTOS app allows users to keep shooting and sharing on the road.

Alongside this updated favorite, Leica has announced a number of custom accessories to keep the new camera looking spiffy and functional, including a handgrip, case, protector, carrying strap, wrist strap, and flash case, all available in black, brown, or red.
