Litepanels has just announced the brightest and lightest 2x1 LED to date: the Gemini 2x1 RGBWW LED Hard Panel. Building on the success of the Gemini 2x1 Soft, Litepanels has created a unit for productions prioritizing power. The new Gemini can produce a whopping 23,000 lux of hard light with the possibility of dual and quad mounting to double and quadruple output, respectively. Impressively, the entire unit, including yoke and power supply, weighs only 25.3 lb, making it easy to rig and transport.

Light from the new Gemini can be consolidated into a powerful 20° beam or widened to a 100° wash for a softer touch. Ultra-light and domed diffusers are included to further tame output when needed. Additional diffusers are available separately for maximum control. Like previous models, the Gemini 2x1 Hard Panel features full RGBWW color gamut mixing, 2700–10000K CCT control with plus and minus green adjustment, HSI controls, 11 special effects, and 300 gel presets. A CRI rating of 95 and TLCI of 97 promises repeatable results.
Output can be adjusted 0.1–100% flicker-free for consistent performance across frame rates and shutter angles. On-unit controls are streamlined for quick and easy adjustments. Alternatively, DMX/RDM/CRMX control is built in, facilitating remote operation. Power can be provided via an integrated multi-voltage supply or separately available V or Gold-mount battery plates. Despite its relative light weight, the new Gemini shares the robust build of its predecessors, ensuring longevity on set.
