The sweepstakes starts on August 15th, 2013 at 8 a.m., and officially ends at 11:59 p.m. on August 19th, 2013. The winner will be announced on August 20th, 2013.

The video was produced, directed and stars Jerry Ghionis, an Australian photographer who is also responsible for designing the Ice Light. This compact lighting instrument is similar to a longer and brighter version of the illuminated batons that airport workers use to help jumbo jets maneuver around the tarmac. It features a cylindrical and slim design that's easy to pack and travel with, and it's powered from an internal battery or with external AC.

1/4" mounting threads are provided on both ends of the Ice Light, so it can be used on a stand and also be easily handheld. The LED array is virtually heat-free, daylight balanced and dimmable. The color temperature range is 5200 - 5400K, and it gets around one hour of battery life from a two and half hour charge. Gel clips are included, as well as power adapters, a carrying case and shoulder straps.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Ice Light B&H Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is void where prohibited by law and is sponsored by B&H Foto & Electronics Corp., 440 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10001 (“B&H” or the “Sponsor”).  

Entry Period/Methods of Entry/Entry Ownership. The Sweepstakes will run from around 8:00 A.M. on August 15, 2013, to 11:59 P.M. on August 19, 2013 (the “Entry Period”).  During the Entry Period, you can enter the Sweepstakes via either one of the following methods: (1) by sharing a video of the commercial for the Wescott Ice Light on your Twitter page using hashtag #bhicelight; or (2) by mailing a post-card containing your name, address, phone number,  e-mail address (optional), and indicating the subject(s), if any, regarding which you are interested in receiving future B&H e-mails (optional) (e.g. photo, video, audio, computers, home theater, portable entertainment) to: Ice Light B&H Giveaway, c/o B&H Foto & Electronics Corp., 440 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10001 (either option is an“Entry”). Only one of these entry methods is required to be entered into the Drawing. Submissions outside the Entry Period are void.

Prizes/Drawing.  On or about August 20, 2013, one (1) prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries. The prize winner will receive a Wescott Ice Light. No cash or other substitutions will be offered. All federal, state, provincial and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. If, for any reason, the winner cannot be located within one (1) week of selection after reasonable attempts by Sponsor, an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Identity of Entrants. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the entrant, entries will have been deemed to have been submitted by the person bearing the name and mailing address stated on the entry postcard if entry is via mail, or the e-mail account holder from which such entry was received if entry was submitted electronically. For these purposes, an e-mail account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such e-mail account by the internet access or online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with such e-mail account. Any issues or disputes regarding the identity of an entrant shall be resolved by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Mail in entries and all other correspondences must be sent in the original and in the entrant’s personal handwriting. No reproductions will be accepted. No machined and/or electronic correspondences shall be accepted. No mass/bulk mailings of any kind shall be accepted.

Entry Ownership/Entrant Agreements. All entries have an equal chance of winning. By entering the Sweepstakes each entrant (and entrant’s parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agrees: (a) to be bound by these Official Ice Light B&H Giveaway Rules; (b) that any claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action (c) that any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event shall such damages include attorneys’ fees; (d) that under no circumstances will an entrant (and entrant’s parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) be permitted to obtain awards for, and each entrant (and entrant’s parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, consequential, or other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses; and (e) any actual or perceived ambiguities in these rules shall be interpreted by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No entrant (or entrant’s parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) shall claim or receive any damages subject to being multiplied or otherwise increased.

Eligible Participants: The Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United States are at least eighteen (18) years of age on their entry date and is not open to employees of Sponsor, their immediate family, any person domiciled with such employees, or any affiliates or subsidiaries of Sponsor.

Limitation of Liability/Sponsor Modification/Cancelation Rights/ Choice of Law/ Venue/ Winners List: Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete entries or for failure to receive entries due to technical failures or human error of any kind. Winner agrees that Sponsor will have no responsibility for losses or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance, possession, or use of the prize. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s consent to the publication of his or her name by Sponsor in any media for commercial or promotional purposes without limitation or further compensation subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at http://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/HelpCenter/PrivacySecurity.jsp . Sponsor may modify or discontinue the Sweepstakes at any time and may disqualify from the Sweepstakes any person it determines, in its sole discretion, to have attempted to or actually tampered with or otherwise abused any aspect of the Sweepstakes. Entrants agree that in the unlikely event a dispute arises in connection with this Sweepstakes, it will be governed by the laws of the State of New York and heard exclusively in a court of applicable jurisdiction in the County and State of New York irrespective of any choice of law rules to the contrary.
