In this B&H Event Space video, self-taught photographer Dotan Saguy tells the story of his 2015 experiment to follow his dream and photograph full time. After a successful career as a technology entrepreneur, Saguy allowed himself the freedom to explore, learn, and evolve in a short time period, without the pressure of earning an income from photography. From his start as a street photographer, Saguy explored various photography disciplines, including photojournalism, social documentary, and travel. Against a backdrop of his photographs, Saguy shares the many lessons he learned during his process of discovery, while also naming the many resources he tapped along the way.
