In the following video, Rob Rives, from B&H, demonstrates how to increase, reduce, or remove the amount of reverb in audio recordings using the Zynaptic Unveil de-reverberation and signal-focusing software for Mac and PC.
Rives demonstrates some of the signal-processing controls of the software by reducing the room ambience of a vocal recording from an interview with photographer Lindsay Adler, and refocusing the reverb of a recording on specific frequency bands. He discusses applications for Foley, ADR, matching location recordings, and mixing with up to eight channels of audio.
Rives also demonstrates the power of the software for processing an Apple drum loop, and he discusses the compatibility and system requirements for using the software.
