Bose Upgrades its SoundTouch Series

Bose announced an upgrade to its SoundTouch series with the addition of three new wireless speaker systems, the SoundTouch 10, SoundTouch 20 Series III, and the SoundTouch 30 Series III. All three units feature the same Wi-Fi functionality, extensive audio format support, and user-friendly interface that helped make their predecessors so popular—and now Bluetooth technology is onboard for even more connectivity options. Each can be controlled via the free companion app, which lets you access online music services, Internet radio station, and your own personal music library; the app also converts your compatible phone or smart device into a convenient remote for controlling your speaker from anywhere in  your home.

Each SoundTouch speaker is designed to provide an immersive sound experience for a specifically sized room in your house. Compact and unobtrusive, the SoundTouch 10 is intended for smaller areas. It’s equipped with a single transducer that’s designed to deliver enhanced sound performance well beyond its size. The SoundTouch 20 is a larger model that features a ported-box design and two custom-made drivers capable of delivering clear, room-filling sound to almost any area in your house. Lastly, the SoundTouch 30 is the biggest of the three and most powerful; it’s equipped with Bose’s proprietary waveguide speaker technology that will fill even your largest room with deep, robust sound. All three speakers are available now in either black or white.

In addition to these new speaker systems, Bose also announced an upgraded wireless adapter, the SoundTouch Series II, which works with your compatible Bose home theatre systems to facilitate streaming audio from a PC, smartphone, or tablet via your existing Wi-Fi network.
