One of RME’s flagship products, the Babyface received an overhaul at this year’s NAB, and it’s clear that RME’s design team took quite a bit of feedback from users into consideration when updating the portable interface. The Babyface Pro, most notably, sees the breakout cable, that bane of portable interface users, eliminated altogether, with the XLR I/O being integrated right into the unit. Dual 1/4" inputs can act as either line or instrument level inputs, with ADAT or S/PDIF optical I/O for digital connectivity.
