At NAB this year, the company displayed its Cyclone Windshield System, which was designed new from the ground up. Its furless appearance is due in thanks to a newly developed material, which blocks wind while remaining sonically transparent. A magnetic lock system allows you to quickly access your mic for switching to indoor shoots, and Rycote employs a Lyre shockmount internally.
