Waves has announced that it is now shipping two new plug-ins, the H-Verb and the Tracks Live multi-track recording software for live sound engineers.
The H-Verb follows suit with the other Hybrid Series effects, offering the best in analog tone-shaping with the convenience of fully automatable parameters. The plug-in features a pioneering reverb based on innovative algorithmic FIR (Finite Impulse Response) reverberation technology, providing rich, deep reverb tails that sit perfectly in your mix. The H-Verb models the analog I/O and signal behavior found in high-end hardware reverb devices, resulting in dynamic input clipping and full build-up timing and shaping. The EQ and dynamics module equips the plug-in for compression, ducking, and de-essing, while the Pre-delay offers BPM synchronization. The H-Verb ships with an expansive library of artist and mix engineer presets and offers full support for 5.1-channel surround setups.
The Tracks Live plug-in enables simultaneous multi-track and master bus recording for up to 512 tracks, with sample rates up to 192 kHz with fast, reliable results. The recording system is compatible with both Mac and PC formats utilizing Core Audio/ASIO audio interfaces and the file format is compatible with all popular DAWs. Automatic track routing configuration with fast switching between recording and virtual sound checking allows Tracks Live to be quick and flexible. The meter bridge offers easy monitoring of signals, while a system lock prevents accidental key pressing.
