Presonus has just introduced the next generation of its popular AudioBox-series recording interfaces for Windows, Mac, and now, for iPad, too. Built to accommodate the ever-changing needs of mobile musicians and podcasters, the new AudioBox iOne and AudioBox iTwo interfaces are compatible with almost any digital audio workstation or iPad recording app. They both feature high-performance Class A preamplifiers with phantom power, and record audio at up to 24-bit, 96 kHz sampling resolution.

Ideal for recording band rehearsals, demos, keyboard workstations and more, the AudioBox iTwo is equipped with two combo mic/instrument/line inputs for connecting dynamic or condenser microphones, as well as guitars, basses, and keyboards. The smaller-sized AudioBox iOne features one microphone input and one instrument input, making it perfect for vocalists and electric guitarists who travel. Both units feature a stereo headphone output with dedicated level control, ultra-low-latency monitoring, and balanced main outputs for connecting studio monitors.
Additionally, the AudioBox iTwo doubles as a full-functioning MIDI interface, including standard MIDI-in and MIDI-out ports. This is great for integrating MIDI sound modules, drum machines, and sequencers that use 5-pin MIDI connectivity in your studio setup.
To get you started producing your own music as quickly as possible, the AudioBox iOne and AudioBox iTwo come packaged with Presonus’s very own Studio One Artist DAW software with more than 6GB of third-party sample content. You can also download the Capture Duo recording app for free, which allows for two-track recording to your iPad and direct wireless transfer of your recordings to Studio One on your Mac or PC .
