Provide big sound in a small package for your next public speaking, live performance, or DJ event with these new compact Active Two-Way Array systems from RCF. With a vertical array design to help minimize high frequency beaming and provide more balanced coverage, the top element in the system conveniently slides on rails and can be stored within the subwoofer enclosure.
They are available with an RCF 10” or 12” bass reflex subwoofer paired with five or eight full range RCF 2” drivers respectively, to provide 120 degrees of horizontal sound coverage. The EVOX 8 uses 1000 watts for the low frequency and 400 watts of class-D amplification for the high frequencies to provide a 40 to 20,000 Hz response and maximum SPL of 128 dB. The smaller EVOX 5 offers 600 watts for the low frequencies and 200 watts for the high frequencies to deliver a 45 to 20,000 Hz response and a maximum SPL of 125 dB.
Both models include integrated DSP for managing the crossover point between the high and low speaker elements as well as dedicated processing to improve the accuracy of vocal reproduction. A multifunction top handle makes the systems portable and doubles as an insert for pole mounting the satellite speaker on top of the subwoofer. Zippered protective covers are available (sold separately).
