Integrating next-generation features with the company’s renowned wireless technology, Shure’s QLX-D is geared to combine advanced features with ease of use for mid-size events and installations, and is newly arrived here at B&H. Boasting AES 256-bit encryption, the QLX-D lineup provides ample protection for offices and government installation, while its 24-bit digital transmission assures high-fidelity sound reproduction from your source. A dynamic range of 120 dB helps to minimize the need for frequent gain adjustments, as the system can handle higher levels before distortion occurs.
The line has a 64 MHz tuning bandwidth, and can support up to 17 compatible systems per 6 MHz band and 22 systems per 8 MHz band (in ideal conditions). Integrated IR sync and scan makes for easy pairing of transmitters and receivers, and Shure’s ShurePlus mobile app allows for iOS remote monitoring. QLX-D is also compatible with Shure’s Wireless Workbench 6 software, and is AMX/Creston control-system ready. As you might expect, there are a number of configurations available, including handheld, lavalier, and headworn options and a rack-mountable receiver.
