Built for 24/7 wide area coverage, the AXIS Q6045-E Mk II is an outdoor-ready PTZ dome camera that combines 1080p resolution with a 32x optical zoom lens. This gives the camera an additional 12x of range over its predecessor, enabling you to read a license plate from up to 984' away. Easy and reliable installation and a vandal-resistant housing make the camera ideal for applications such as city surveillance, airports, train stations, and stadiums. Additionally, it features shock detection, surge protection, and is weatherproof against dust, rain, and snow (IP66 and NEMA 4X). Add to this an operating temperature range of -40 to 122°F and you have a camera ready for 24/7 PTZ use in virtually any environment.
The AXIS Q6045-E Mk II offers 360° of pan and 220° of tilt adjustment and can be automatically directed to 256 preset positions using guard tour. Additionally, it can even tilt 20° above the horizon, making it possible for it to see higher than its mounting position. The camera also provides several built-in intelligent features, including highlight compensation, fence detector, object counter and enter/detection, and auto-tracking. An Active Gatekeeper function enables the camera to automatically move to a preset position when motion is detected in a pre-determined area, and track that object once detected. For local storage of recorded video, the camera has a built-in memory card slot that accepts SD/HD/XC cards. The camera is powered by High Power over Ethernet using the supplied High PoE mid-span.
