Replay XD unveiled its 4th-generation HD camera at NAB 2014: the Prime X. The Prime X replaces the previous model and features a new 16-megapixel, 1/2" sensor with longer battery life and 1080p recording up to 60 fps. It can also record at 720p up to 120 fps. A new 7-element T2.8 mini prime lens provides high-quality performance with optical distortion correction and anti-reflective coating. The field of view can be quickly adjusted from 145° to 110° with a simple push of a button.

The Prime X is only 1mm longer than the previous version, but it runs up to 1.5 hours longer, and it is waterproof down to 10 feet as is—with an accessory deep-dive case you can take it down to 200 feet. Replay XD has also added built-in WiFi functionality to the Prime X, which allows you to control the camera and preview footage on your tablet or smartphone.

Hi everyone... I had the unique opportunity to BETA test the PrimeX over the summer. June-August to be exact with our #99 JCR MOTORSPORTS Audi R8 LMS Ultra that runs in the Pirelli World Challenge and let me be the first to tell all of you that the REPLAY XD PRIME X is the best camera we have ever used on our car. The sharpness and the color quality is second to none and we even had "GO PRO" loyalists shaking their heads in amazement when I gave them a sneak peek at raw footage taken from the Front Splitter, Helmet cam and rear facing cameras from our race in Mid-Ohio and Sonoma.. Get your order in now as they are availble in the US and overseas..

So there is a delay in the deliveries I see does that mean the relese date is out? I dont see it anywhere nor do I see the cost for ordering or pre-orders.

I ordered the prime x from your webshop last week. What worries me is that there is nothing on their website about the new prime x. I can not get in contact with them. Tried email, instagram and Facebook. I can also se from my bank account that you have already charged for the pre order. Is that normal taken in consideration that you do not even know when the product is out for sale? I ordered this because it has been stated that camera would be out mid august and I really needed this camera for a big event coming up next week.

what is the largest memory storage capacity it will support? I know it comes witha 4gb but will it support the new 128gb mini?

The Replay XD Prime X Action Camera has been tested with up to a 64GB micro SDXC memory card. We will reserve judgement on the newer 128GB microSDXC cards until after we have had an opportunity to actually try one of these cameras loaded up with one.

the Go Pro is played out and is bulky but the replay's design is very nice and then there are the features and with this next generations we would like to see ou surpass the competition. give us something to make the go-pro'ers look like the things of yesterday
How does this compare to the Contour w/ night vision. I hear it is bluetooth ready and may have live feed. I like the Replay and just want to see this product do all it can.

No bluetooth? I was hoping we would be able to use my iPhone to see what the camera sees when out and about. Use my Replay XD 1080 a lot on MTB rides.

Dear Sir/Madam
When will be new Replay XD Prime X become available for sale to the public? I live and work in South Sudan but is visiting the USA from 6 - 15 August. I will be visting the Washington area and ideally would like to buy at a shop where I can have a look at the camera. However if you can ship it to my address in N.VA that will work as well. I don't often get the chance to visit the USA and having looked at a range of cameras the Prime X appears to be most suitable to my needs.
