Hands-On Review: Sanho HyperDrive iUSBportCAMERA2

09/22/2014Link1

In the following video, Larry Becker, from Kelby One, takes a look at the iUSBportCAMERA2 from Hyper++Drive, a compact device that adds or expands the Wi-Fi remote control functions of your Nikon or Canon DSLR camera. The video explores the controls and features of the device, including its compact size, LCD screen, and dual USB 2.0 ports. Becker guides you through the set-up processes and how to connect to and control the device using the iUSBcam app. The video concludes with a discussion on how the device lets you transfer files from memory cards to a portable hard drive without a computer, as well as how it serves as a portable USB charger with its built-in 3300 mAh battery. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at B&H.com.

How does this device compare to the Camranger? Which is faster and more reliable for wireless-tehtered shooting? And which is easiest to use?

Helpful video about the Hyper thing, but it's difficult to find anything that seriously compares the two.

I wanted to purchase a Digital Director, but I have an iPad 4, so I guess I'll choose one of the wireless options instead.
