In the following demo, we are listening to teenage engineering’s PO-33, a pocket-sized micro sampler. The demo explores all the stock sounds and presets. Listen to all the 16 effects including loops, unison, octave up/down, stutters, scratch, retrigger and reverse. Hear the 6/8 quantize effect change a 4/4 to a 6/8 with tons of character. In the following video, Andrew Eisele demonstrates the Behringer Neutron, a semi-modular analog  synthesizer. The opening demo song was created using only the Neutron to create kick, snare, high hats, synth lines, and effects. Listen to the two oscillators with and without sync, as well as the Neutron’s paraphonic (two notes) mode. The multi-mode filter explores the LP, BP, HP selections with the dedicated envelope. Andrew also demonstrates the integrated BBD analog delay and overdrive circuits. Marvel at the 32-input / 24 output patchbay with the ability to cross-modulate multiple sources or interface with additional gear such as the Behringer Model D or other Eurorack modules. In the following video, Andrew Eisele demonstrates the Moog DFAM – Drummer From Another Mother, a semi-modular analog percussion synthesizer. Listen to the various oscillators and white noise generator blended and processed through the classic Moog ladder transistor filter. The onboard eight-step sequencer generates patterns of variable pitch and velocity.  Marvel at the 24-point patchbay with the ability to cross-modulate multiple sources or interface with additional gear, such as the Mother 32 or other Eurorack modules. In this video, Aaron “AB” Belinfanti gives you a look at five of B&H’s favorite synths from NAMM 2018. You’ll see the Elektron Digitone, which blends old-school subtractive-synth signal flow with FM synthesis, as well as Arturia’s MiniBrute 2 and MiniBrute 2S. Another standout comes by way of Korg, whose analog synth-beast, called the Prologue, boasts many features that you can read about here. As for the other item included, you’ll have to watch the video to see it for yourself—but if you’re a fan of the keytar, you will not be disappointed.
