Jake from B&H checks out Zoom’s new F6, a 6-XLR-input portable field recorder that features the same preamps, timecode generator, and other specs from the F4 and F8/F8N models. The F6 can record 32-bit float files, and it sports dual A/D converters on the inputs that provide huge dynamic range, essentially preventing issues with clipping.
