12/08/2015Link0

In the following video, Mia McCormick, from KelbyOne Media, takes a look at the latest monitor and 4K recorder offering from Atomos—the Ninja Assassin. Part of the “Ninja” line, the Assassin is an HDMI-only recorder aimed at DSLR and mirrorless 4K shooters. McCormick goes over the Assassin’s recording capabilities, which includes Ultra HD up to 30 fps and 1080p up to 60 fps. Video is recorded to 2.5" SSDs using edit-friendly 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes and Avid DNxHR/DNxHD codecs. McCormick also discusses the physical design and features of the device, such as the 7.1" display with 1920 x 1200 resolution, as well as examining the touchscreen user interface and some of the monitoring features. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at BandH.com.
