I purchased this bag for my Bogen Pro Model 3221 Tripod with a Smith Victor Black Diamond BH8 Pro Ballhead. This bag is very well made, and sturdy. The padding is excellent, and will protect your gear very well. There also is a pocket on the inside, as well as one on the outside for carrying other items. Over all a great bag, and good investment. Money well spent.

I purchased this case to carry my Manfrotto 755/502 tripod/head combo. It fits the tripod very nicely with enough room to spare to comfortably carry a boom pole and, if I squeeze, a 24" camera slider (in its own padded case).

I've checked it on 2 flights and there are already at least 6 small rips that have appeared in the nylon exterior, which is disappointing. However, my tripod has arrived intact in all destinations so the bag is doing its job, for now.

If the primary goal is to keep your tripod from getting banged around inside a car or van it's a good buy. If you plan on using it for air travel, it will work but expect a shorter usable life for the bag.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

Works perfectly with my Manfrotto 755XB/502HD head with a little extra room. Very thick padding and great for traveling. A nice feature is the slot for a name tag or business card. I might get a larger size for light stands.

Appears well-made

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I needed a case for my Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 tripod + KPS T5D Geared Ball Head so I ordered this case. The length is perfect but it is much wider than needed. I can't imagine why it is so wide. I now carry my Gitzo Traveler in its case, along with the Manfrotto in the PSTC case. I have used it very little, but it does appear well-made.

This tripod bag is a great product. Well made with lots of room compared to the name brands that are more expensive and not as functional.
Would definitely recommend this bag.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I bought this as a replacement product for a Manfrotto tripod case and, though it was too small for the tripod I bought it for, I was so impressed with the quality and features that I kept it for my smaller tripod and ordered the next size up. Heavy duty canvas and zippers mean It SHOULD last a long time. Outside zipper pocket is handy for extra plates, feet and spreader so you don't have to worry about jamming it all inside. Rubber feet on the bottom of the 300 keep it from laying in the snow and dirt. And the business card slot is just a nice touch.

I would buy this again.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I looked around and this seemed to be the best tripod case. It has medium padding and is large enough. The new head on my tripod is rather large and the large (wide) end of the case fits perfectly. The only thing I would improve is the location of the strap. One end is on the front and the other end is on the side. I see no logic in why they did that and it causes the whole thing to carry a little awkward, but I am still satisfied. I have not had it for too long so I can't speak of durability, but it seems durable.

a simple and versatile carrying bag

By Eric

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

this tripod bag is pretty much what I wanted -- something to carry my medium sized Gitzo tripod by slingling over my shoulder. Tripod use even while just walking around is my preferred mode, and clutching in hand gets tiresome, particularly in cold weather. This bag works pretty well, has some padding but not enough to make it too heavy. Seems versatile for light stands or other things. It is fairly simple, so I don't think appropriate for stand alone shipping. Seems fine for stowage in a vehicle. Shoulder strap a little thin, I might swap that out for something beefier if it becomes an issue. The bag is larger at one end to accommodate a tripod while leaving the head in place.

Very Functional Case

By Keith

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I didn't know such things existed until I saw a B&H ad for gift suggestions.
The case that came with my tripod is extremely difficult to use. It requires the tripod to be folded in a very precise manner, and it it still difficult to put into the case.
With this new PSTC case, I can put the tripod inside the case with the ball head & GHBA gimbal attached in the "normal" operating position. Then I just put the case in the rear of my vehicle. There is even room inside the case for my right angle bracket, a monopod and a large beanbag. Everything I might need for stabilizing my camera in one carrying case.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I needed a tripod bag for my Celestron NexStar Evolution 8" Edge HD TRIPOD.
This bag is perfect for the tripod as a note:the tripod is "just" fit pretty tight. However; the price is reasonable and as I said the bag accommodates all my needs with some of room for the Telescope accessories.
I would definitely recommend to a friend without hesitation!

Solid bag that is big enough to hold the tripod with attached video head. The bag is perhaps a little bigger than I'd have hoped, but it works.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I purposefully wanted to get a slightly larger bag for our 27" tripod. This bag works perfectly-- it's large enough to store our main Manfrotto tripod, plus a backup/smaller light tripod in its own bag. Or, if I wanted to, I could swap that smaller tripod for the pocket slider, again in its own bag. Very spiffy, I appreciate the design and sturdiness so far!

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

the bag is large enough to carry not only the tripod, but also my light stand, umbrella for flash use and other photography accessory. However, the durability can be improve, as some damages can be found for using just two days for which I carried it normally.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

This product is well made and padded for the price range. Even though the dimensions are a little odd, almost triangular, it rests well against the back when using the shoulder strap to carry. I have this as a replacement bag for my carbon fiber tripod and I think this will last. I would not recommend using this for bad weather though, although the materials appear to be rugged I doubt they would keep anything dry in a good rain.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I own a larger RRS tripod & ball head. I originally ordered the RRS bag years ago, but returned it because it was so much larger than the tripod. This still has plenty of space where the ball head goes, more than I was looking for. The bag seems to be well constructed, the extra pockets are nice. And it's a fraction of what the RRS bag was.
