Should have bought it years ago

Comments about JK Audio DAPTOR 2 Wireless Phone Audio Interface:

Doing voice work from the home studio, I occasionally encounter clients who'd like to participate in the direction of a session, or at least hear playback on-the-fly. There are ways to accomplish this, but the end results always sound less-than-great, plus it's just plain awkward juggling headphones & other equipment trying to make it work. Bottom line, an actual phone interface is necessary. The issue I kept finding on all the models I'd checked out was that they required a land line, something I'd given up in favour of a cellphone nearly twenty years ago. The Daptor 2 is the perfect solution for my situation -- it's just a box; simply plug the appropriate line-in/line-out cables into the console, adjust the mix/minus settings on the board, attach the cell, and voila! Clients can now participate in the session & hear playback with ease, and I don't have to consider having a land line installed, so it's a win-win for everybody.

Another great audio tool from JK

Comments about JK Audio DAPTOR 2 Wireless Phone Audio Interface:

We tested the Daptor Two in the shop before taking to show site and found call quality was as good as a regular cell phone call.
On show site, the Daptor Two was used as backup for THAT2 (client has experienced dropped calls with their internal phone network). We A/B'd the two and found little difference.
Four stars - product is still new to us (only used on one show). Seems like a solid little device and our other JK Audio products have held up well over time.

I purchased this for a church. We have a member who is unable to attend services and this product allows us to hook up to a cell phone and transmit the church service to her speaker phone at her home.

Comments about JK Audio DAPTOR 2 Wireless Phone Audio Interface:

Well, it works. lol.. But I'm not yet sure how much it functions as intended. I seem to be getting send/receive from either cable, regardless whether it's plugged into "to phone" or "from phone." I'm also dealing with trying to find the right place for it on my mixer, so there are issues there, too, but the End Game is that this little box works with my iPhone 4 and is more than capable.

Comments about JK Audio DAPTOR 2 Wireless Phone Audio Interface:

I use this to record phone ins from cell phones and cordless phones with 2.5mm headset ports. Even bought an adaptor and use it with an iphone. Great sound, rugged design, and very good buy. Only bad issue is the lack of mix and match for the cabling ins and outs; its either both xlr or both 1/4". Minor issue though. Great product.
