I have purchased several Impact products and I am very happy with them. So, when I saw this product, which looked really high tech, and respectfully seems cable of doing all sort of reflector holder and related things I went for it. However on my first use with my impact 42" (purchased in conjunction with it) reflector it proved otherwise.
The fasteners that adjust and hold the reflector up and / or at an angle failed to secure it. Especially the larger lever shaped one: as you tighten it the metal pin (embedded in plastic) that anchor the fasten grinds its way out comes out as you tighten it.
I had to use a vise clamp to re-embed the pin and super glue to hopefully secure it. A real drag!
I am a beginner in this, so it could just be my misunderstanding of how to use it, but it is advertised as being capable of holding a reflector up to 60", but it failed to support the weight of my 42" reflector?
I return the 42" reflector for a 32" one (with less weight) and I am hoping for the best.
Respectfully, I my comments on this product are limited to the aforementioned.

Much sturdier than I thought it would be.
my reflectors are only 24inch, so this is over kill, the boom allows you to put in different positions, I like it.
Excellent product, received promptly!
I used it for holding a reflector when assistant is not available for portraits and product photography. Great product
Solid product. Well designed, multi-use and easy to customize. Feels sturdy and gets the job done.
Holds the 5 in 1 reflectors beautifully, as well as other light scrims and flags
Though a 5x7 reflector 'will' fit, it's really better for smaller reflectors, but NOT a 5x7 collapsible.
And of course, ONLY for indoor use.
Good studio addition. Price was better than Amazon.
The arm not strong
Great for positioning reflectors, counterweight helps keep it where you want it.
I've used several cheaper, similar reflector holders from Amazon and they aren't as sturdy or well-made. This holder can balance a large reflector (over 30 inch) perfectly over Manfrotto Nano Stands if you're mobile, making it a perfect fit for my needs. It'll perform equally well on any other light stand, in studio or on location. It can even telescope-outward giving photographers more composition options using it as an extended overhead diffuser high overhead. Fantastic
Now I don't need to beg people to hold reflectors for me!
Pretty easy and straight forward set up. Clamps are definitely tight; took some effort to hold open while adjusting your reflector but that's better than it not holding well enough. You have to detach this piece from the light stand to fit it into your lightstand bag. Watch out for the counter weight! It's heavy and easy to drop while unscrewing if you're not paying attention. Overall it's been awesome!
This arm is sturdy and seems to hold the large reflector disc own well. Adjustments are made quickly and easily,
it is good quality , it is my second reflector holder, recommend to anyone
I really like this reflector holder. It is much sturdier than I thought it would be based on the previous reviews. I like that I can slide the clamps and use it to hold small or big reflectors and the clamps have a nice sturdy feel to them. I used this to hold a reflector (medium size) in the middle of a pretty windy shoot and it worked perfectly. It's one of those things that when you don't have it you miss it but when you have it and it is working properly you don't even think about it. Good tool - it's not the same as having a person holding it for you and able to follow your model but it's about as close as you can get.
Works well. The counterweight is a nice addition.
This is a great little piece of one man-band grip gear. Not only can you use it to hold your reflector, diffuse, etc, the back counter weight unscrews so that you can attach a small LED lamp for a hair light, lightweight microphone, etc.
My only issue with the holder is that it doesn't shrink down quite short enough. I would've preferred this thing to get real small so that it could be placed in a medium size suitcase or tripod sleeve.
Tried it and works like a charm. Just what I wanted
