These are very good sleeves for archiving negatives. They aren't the absolute best, but they are still archival quality (if you're archiving Ansel Adams's shots or something of similar importance, then you'll want to use polyester, despite the propensity for static build-up).

They come in very well thought-out packaging. Instead of using cheap plastic, they use the same material that the sleeves are made out of, so that no harmful chemicals leech onto the sleeves between when they're made and when you're ready to use them.

The sleeves fit about 150 to a 1-inch binder, the way that I use them. Each page holds 35 prints, cut into 5-frame strips. There's a white strip along the top that you can use for writing information (don't forget to use archival quality pens), and each page also reminds you "Insert emulsion side down," but I suspect that this is for contact sheets as much as anything. I'm happy with this product. I keep a variety of these pages, 2x2 (medium format), 4x5 (large format), along with photo-sized pages, so that I can instantly create an archived binder from a job. If you work with film, then you definitely want something like this. It keeps your film from getting contaminated, wet, bent, etc.

it is okay if you are just thinking of buying like anything that can hold a negative..
but i think the sheets get scratches (on the outside) easily, and i wish i had gotten a little bit thicker one? (like the sleeve itself is a little flimsy..)
and you know how the negatives have the curve, so it gets quite annoying when u have to put those in the binder (because they roll up.)
I would say if I had to get another set of sleeves, i would spend a little more money and get the better ones.

The material is very clear and it's easy to see the film.
Sometimes it's difficult to inset the pice of film into the slots but it holds them in place which is great if you take your films to other places.

These things really work

Besides being quite handy, these things really help protect your negs. I recently had opportunity to scan a bunch of Tri-X negs I shot in the mid 1970s while working for a small newspaper. We routinely put all our negs in these same sleeves. They scan, and would print great after 40+ years, but you can see some degradation on some strip ends where they stuck out of the sleeve and were unprotected. I'm convinced.

I use this to store my developed black and white 35mm film. The slots are the perfect size and keep to film clean and dust free! Clipping these pages in binder makes for really easy storage.

It does the job, however they are very fragile and tear easily when sliding the negatives in.

Good archival quality sleeves

Comments about Print File 35mm Archival Storage Pages for Negatives, (25 Pack):

3 stars because I feel the manufactures forget that 35mm film has 36 exposures and not 35 exposures. I know it is common that a photographer may have one bad negative, but that is not something which should be taken for granted. Need to come up with innovative ways of archiving the 36th exposure without damaging the other 35.

Great for storing my negatives

Comments about Print File 35mm Archival Storage Pages for Negatives, (25 Pack):

This product does what it is supposed to do, protect my negatives. Getting the negatives in the sleeves can sometimes take a bit of effort and the sharp corners of cut negatives can put tiny holes in the sleeves.
