Beautiful bag

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Sage with Tan Leather Trim):

I got compliments from everyone who saw the bag. It is large enough to fit D810 with 2 lenses, 2 filter pouches, trigger and rags and even my travel tripod inside the bag. Loaded it still slid under Southwest airplane seat.

The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is I wasn't thrilled with the optional tripod straps for carrying outside the bag, they will work but could have been better.

Quality Bag

By Cuda

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Sage with Tan Leather Trim):

This bag is large, but the construction is top notch. I had to email Billingham on the configuration for my gear. It only took 48 hours. What a difference this bag makes. It's not the best bag to shoot out of, but for transportation it works great. I typically carry a Canon 1DX Mark II, Canon 5DSR, 11-24mm wide angle, Canon 24-70 f2.8 and either a 70-200 or a 100-400 lens. Along with accessories. Also my MacBook Pro fits in. This does get a little heavy at times. As always B&H shipping was great.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim):

When I opened my package from B&H at first I was shocked by how huge this bag really is. I thought oh no, I should have got the 335. After opening it up and filling it with my equipment, I realized I got the perfect bag for my needs. There's plenty of room for books, notepads, over the ear headphones, laptop, laptop charger, camera with battery grip, extra lenses, batteries, audio recorders, etc. This bag literally has room for anything that I could possibly need it for. The quality is topnotch.

A well constructed camera bag. A little pricey but if you are the best, you want the best! Hopefully will last my lifetime like they advertise.

Top of the line

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim):

I've carried Billingham bags for nearly 30 years, under all weather and travel conditions, and can't imagine using another type. Camera bags are highly personal, and the quality and organisation of Billingham suit me. The bag is rugged and well designed; fits the body for long carries, through airports or the bush. Leather fasteners do wear out in tropical conditions, but last a long time with routine leather care. The 445, which I bought to replace a worn-out and apparently discontinued model, is about 5 cm too long and too deep for my needs (not carrying long lenses), but as close as I could get to my original of 25 years ago. (My initial purchase this year was the 555, which was enormous; I exchanged it for the 445). Billingham has almost too many models, when the original styles would have sufficed; the upside is that you will find something to suit your needs. Do review interior and exterior dimensions (B&H lists them all) carefully, to make sure it's what you want. Pricey, yes, but tough, versatile, well-organised, and classy-looking to boot.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim):

I purchased this bag for travel with two Nikons, three lenses a 15 inch Macbook Pro and assorted photo accessories. Not sure how to arrange, I e-mailed Billingham for suggestions on how to arrange. They sent me detailed schematics that worked great. Quality is superb, the look is awesome and the bag lives up to the hype that it is best in class.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim):

I have not yet traveled with this bag, but I did my preliminary packing and it held my Sony AR7II system with lenses and external flashes. I plan to use on a trip to Italy in October. Very well constructed and balances well on my shoulder. Lots of pockets and a unique closure desing.

I first purchased this bag for my Leica M I can fit all my entire kit lenses flash everything you can need on a shoot. Its easy to hang on your shoulder and pull out what you need on the fly. You get what you pay for its built like a brick! its put together very well with great care. In fact I like this bag so much I just purchased another one for my DSLR system (different color).

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Black with Black Leather Trim):

Awesome bag to transport the gear. Great materials and very comfortable. It is not the best bag to shoot out from - can be done of course but the lens access is not as convenient as other models. So I would definitely recommend it for any type non event work. For the event work it would depend on how you use your gear - how many cameras and lenses you use at the same time.

My only real gripe with the bag is that it does not have any pockets for CD/SD cards - so you have to use card wallet with this bag.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim):

I've purchased several bags in the past only to search for a more genuine means to transport my gear.

I knew about Billingham years ago but could never get past the price. You know what they say, "You get what you pay for", and so I took the Billingham plung.

I will never regret purchasing the 445 bag, after receiving and organizing my gear. This is the right bag if your looking to transport your gear from location to location or even for travel.

I have two DSLR bodies, four lens, Fuji x100s, chargers, batteries and many other items in this bag and love it.

I will indeed purchase another Billingham bag for everyday carry but this is the bag for transporting your gear.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Sage with Tan Leather Trim):

I had a Billingham Hadley Pro before, but it got to small, so I upgraded to the 445. It is built to the same high standards as the Hadley Pro. I use this bag almost daily and it fits all my gear together with a laptop and other bits and pieces I need. I'm especially happy with the shoulder strap construction, on the Hadley pro, the strap always twisted, but due to the strap construction on the 445 this does not happen any longer. I have nothing negative to say about this bag, you get what you pay for.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Black with Tan Leather Trim):

I bought the 445 to carry my Canon kit and Macbook Pro 13" laptop. I am very comfortably able to stash the following:

              Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS
              Zeiss 35mm f/1.4
              Canon 430 EX II flash
              Canon 50mm f/1.4
              Canon 40mm f/2.8
              Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II
A couple of fixed focal length manual Olympus lenses with Canon adapters
              Canon 6D with 24-105mm f/4L IS attached
              All hoods
Charger, a couple of batteries, cables, filters, etc.
              Macbook Pro 13" and charger

The bag is pretty heavy with all the gear and I don't normally walk around with it, it's really just for working out of the car or trailer and then I just carry the camera and maybe one extra lens but it's great to finally have one bag that accommodates it all instead of the old 2 - 3 bag setup I had. The 445 is strong and doesn't feel stressed at all.

The construction is great and impeccably detailed, just as you'd expect a high-end British piece of luggage to be made. Like everyone else, I wish it were less expensive but I don't think it could be made as well for much less. I've probably spent as much on cheap bags over the last few years combined as I did on this but I feel like I'm finished for a good long while now that I have my Billingham.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim):

I use this bag to carry my Canon 50D (a pretty hefty DSLR camera) and 4 lenses. Plenty of room for paperwork, pens, accessories, and whatever else I may accumulate. Loops sewn onto the bag allow toting a tripod.

This bag is large, on the scale of a carry-on suitcase. Filling it with camera equipment will make it pretty heavy.

My favorite feature is the bag strap. The Y-shape strap attachment ensures that even if your gear is imbalanced, the bag does not flip or tumble.

Comments about 445 Shoulder Bag (Sage with Tan Leather Trim):

I was skeptical about this bag since I only was able to see it online, about how it would look and feel in real life, whether it would be too big/small for my needs, and it is quite expensive. Once the bag arrived, all doubts were gone! I love this bag!!!! This has to be the best camera bag I owned to date (I had four previous bags) and I anticipate it will be with me for a long time. It is a bit large (I do expect to grow my hobby to a more serious level), but very very comfortable and handles everything I've got in comfort and style. If you are like me and think the price is a bit steep, my advice is just do it and you'll very glad you did.

This Billingham bag is really a good choice if you want, as I do, make quick photoreport travels.
I often use to travel around Europa for few days. I only bring my bag with which contains my 2 mamyia 7, 30 120rolls, 15" laptop, 2 shirts, toilet bag, notebooks, pencils...

to my point, this bag is much more than a camera bag.
