Comments about Classified 250 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Sepia):

I use to go to work each day and carry 1 SLR camera, my 16-85mm lens, my laptop plus some paperwork. Its quite versatile with heaps of space to accommodate lots of equipment. Easy to access the gear and ample room to carry all my gear, if anything, at times it may be too large.

very well thought out bag for the photographer who needs a bag for on the go and can carry pro gear. This bag holds my D3x, a 70-200, 24-70 and 85 1.4 as well as 2 Metz flashes my Elinchrom triggers, gels and my laptop. What really helps is this bag does this and holds it's shape and does not really seem heavy as it is well balanced.

Bought this for my Nikon D300 with plans to upgrade to the replacement for the D700 if Nikon ever has one, plus my 70-200 2.8 and 24-70 2.8. Everything fits well and protected. Room left for my flash 2x converter and extras. As always Lowepro had the answer. Very happy and would recommend this bag.

I use this bag for shooting sports and around town. D3 with 70-200,F2.8 attached,28-70 F2.8 and 12-24 F4. SB 800 with Quantum turbo 2x2 with cord in the two front pouches, Plenty of room to swap lenses in this bag. My new favorite arangement is D3 and D200 both with lenses attached and 1 extra lense, two SB 800s and batterie pack. Like the longer shoulder strap so bag is at my hip and not under my arm pit { yaa I am a bigger guy }. Easy access to get your gear out of bag while on your shoulder.

Comments about Classified 250 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):

I bought this bag sight-unseen, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. [...]My intention is to use this bag regularly for my photography endeavors. My observations on this bag after half a day of ownership:1. It seems reasonably well-made; I expect it to last as long as I take decent care of it. It does have a lifetime warranty in case something does go wrong.2. Gear is adequately padded and protected, and is nicely arranged with pockets specifically designed to hold various camera accessories.3. It holds everything. And then some. And then some more.I can pack in a D90, D40, 18-55, 55-200, 50/1.8, 35/1.8, SB-600, Alienbees Cybersync RF trigger & receiver, filters, accessories, and so on and *still* have room for a laptop, power cables, network cables and mouse. It fits all of this comfortably (ie.: nothing is being stretched or strained). I'm sure I could fit even more with some rearrangement of compartments. It really is impressive.4. The price you pay for all this storage is bulk. Lots of it. Make no mistake, this is a truly massive bag; but, then, I'm only 5'7" and 150lbs soaking wet, so, perhaps, it's more that I'm too small than it is that it's too big ;)It's quite a lot to put on one shoulder, even without a laptop and its accessories (the bag, itself, certainly weighs more than my previous, smaller bag), but the waist strap does help offset and distribute some of the weight.5. The shoulder strap is strong and has a lip on which you can hold your camera by its neck strap, but, overall, it's terribly uncomfortable. I've already replaced it with better one from a different bag that I had.6. Accessing my gear is not as easy as I had hoped. I don't think a zipper is the best option; I prefer a flap as it's just quicker. It might have been better if the zipper had bigger teeth and was easier to use.So, three pros and three cons. I suppose no bag can be perfect. My recommendation for this bag is not a binary answer. If you are a more average-sized adult male (say, 6' and around 200lbs), you can probably handle it. If you are a shrimp like I am... well, only time will tell :)

Comments about Classified 250 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):

when I first saw the bag I knew it was going to provide me with the versatility that I needed.

I like the ability to keep the two primary lenses that I use attached to camera bodies and still be able to fit into the bag.

I find the front compartment to very useful for carrying my laptop which I carry frequently.

I don't use the silk screen protectors because they seem to be in the way most of the time and the camera hold which is located on the strap isn't useful to me because I usually don't carry a camera on the same arm as the bag, too much weight.

Overall I am very pleased with the bag and would recommend it to anyone.

Comments about Classified 250 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):

It is surprising how few choices to choose from when it comes to a decent camera bag that also gives you space for A4 notebook and water bottle. The last thing you want when you're walking around is to have multiple bags hanging around your body, while you are trying to smartly walk around and make images, change lenses, have a sip of water, etc.

The bag looks relatively large, but it hasn't caused me too much trouble walking around town with it on my back. If you want to carry a few standard-size lenses and flash, you'll need a bag with space for it. It won't be small. So if you are like me, street shooter with preference to fixed standard lens than zoom, and maybe carry laptop to review/process on site on some days, this is perfect.

The flap is wide enough to cover all the pockets on the front so it will be fine if light drizzle is coming down (for a heavy rain, this Lowepro bag has a built-in rain cover to just pull out, wrap it, and keep walking). The camera compartment is accessed via the zip on top, zip has large leather handle so nice to touch and very smooth to open/close. The opening is at just the right place so it is easy to just reach in to grab equipment in there, swap and put back in, even when you are carrying the bag close to your body with strap running across your body from one shoulder to the waist.

The build quality of protection and compartments is tops as you expect from LowePro. Side pockets are quite useful to separate small accessory from phone and other non-photography stuff you carry around, with larger pocket enough to keep folding umbrella, etc.

The only addition I would have given it is a mesh pocket on the side. Who doesn't carry a small bottle of water when they go out for the day, really. Surely it is possible to attach a water bottle with ring-hook, but you don't want that dangling along as you walk. Designer would probably say it would have made the otherwise nicely designed street bag ugly, all-for-function bag, but at the end of the day, this is a bag for a very specific purpose.

I bought the 250 for street / owtdoor shooting. I'm very glad that have bought 250, not 200 - because it's little bigger. In it located D700 with battery grip, and 80-400, + 24-70, 17-35 and sb-900. Very fast and easy of removing and replacing the camera and lenses, the bag easy to carry. Good design.

Comments about Classified 250 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):

I purchases the Classified 250 AW Pro three weeks ago for a 3-day photoshoot in L.A. I was particularly drawn to the fact that it could transport my laptop, camera, two lenses, batteries, flash, etc. Granted, it became rather heavy. If it was the only item I was carrying, it would be fine. The only thing I could think that would make this better, would be to have rolling wheels with a retractable handle - like luggage. As a small woman, when I had more than the bag to carry, it became almost too much weight for me. Wheels would make walking through airports or long treks, easier. It's hard to get everything, though! :) All-in-all, I liked the functionality and accessibility of everything I work with - within a quick, easy, reach. The quality is excellent. Highly recommend!

I am college student, photo major, and photographer for the campus newspaper. This bag lives up to the expectations in the manufacturers description exactly. It also has room for a few small books and notebooks. It gets a bit heavy when I have to really load it for school and photography (books, laptop, cameras, lenses, flash, and a few accessories) but I have found no other bag that can do all that. My only camplaint is the front flap is hard to get to if your standing with the bag over your shoulder.

I fequently use two bodies with a wide angle lens on one and a zoom on the other. I can do that and carry all of my support gear at the same time! One of my biggest concerns was the ease of removing and replacing the cameras...no problems. The bag is also easy to carry and looks very professional. It really looks like an over sized brief case or a small suitcase when full.

Strap good be better. A bit bulky for everyday shooting but reasonable for transport and airline compatible for catty-on.

I have been looking for a while for something that will allow me to ride on an airplane with all my lenses and my computer. I had been really close to buy the really TOO expensive Crumpler Brazilian Dollar and I decided to wait until I went to New York and saw both bags on B&H store. Thanks gosh I waited; this one is cheaper by far and much better constructed.
The only problem, you will end packing too much stuff on it

Do not become a target going on the streets of the city in another camera bag.
Easy access, carries all what you should need on the streets, as well as a carryon bag on planes, with proper space for your documents wallet as well as other digital equipment including your lap top.
Quality could have been a bit more refined, and they would have gotten any price they asked for.
Certainly a great bag, and a great purchase.

Went to Australia with this bag. AU airlines only allow 15 lbs for carryons. It held my D200 + 3 lenses + netbook computer + charger, CF cards, pol. filters, & cords. I didn't even use the flaps set of pockets, so I have more room for accessories for travel in US and where the carryon allowance is higher. VERY well made, has versatile dividers - really glad I found this bag!

Comments about Classified 250 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Sepia):

I bought the 250 because I specifically wanted to safely transport my laptop, camera, lenses, tripod, etc. I've given it a 5-star rating because I find it to be very versatile, rugged, adjustable, and handsome. The interior of the bag can totally be configured to your needs and the dedicated laptop space provides great security. HOWEVER - I just returned from a 3-week jaunt overseas and I now know the downside. The bag is just too huge for plane, train, bus, and taxi travel. I cannot get it under the seat in front of me. When I checked my suitcase and only carried the 250 the situation was better but trying to lug both on board was not cool. I was not able to take the bag out shooting. Again, it is just too big and cumbersome to use in that manner. Instead, I used a backpack. I will use the 250 for car trips.

I was searching for something to hold and protect my gear when traveling. This bag suits my needs perfectly. Very airline friendly and protects my stuff. It holds my D200(w lens), F100, flash, 2 lens, MBP 15.4, and numerous other accessories. Lots of extra pockets. Has a nice profile, it's really surprising how burly, yet slim and comfortable this bag is. There is great access point at the top of the bag that allows me to open the main compartment without lifting the flap. I am very impressed with the quality of the bag.

I use this bag as a cinematographers bag to hold my lightmeter, color cards, small lights, etc It's plenty big for my needs and I like the design feature of entering the main compartment from the top. The adjustable dividers allow for customization.
