Comments about Westcott Shallow Softbox 36 x 48" (90.2 x 122 cm):

Love it for my architectural work: shallow depth makes it fit in smaller rooms and the large size gives softer light emulating window. Perfect.

Comments about Westcott Shallow Softbox 36 x 48" (90.2 x 122 cm):

This has decent diffusion even though it is shallow and it provides a decently even light. The shallowness makes it possible to use is tight spaces on location.

    Westcott shallow softbox

    By Shane

    Comments about Westcott Shallow Softbox 36 x 48" (90.2 x 122 cm):

We bought this to go on a spider light TD6. We had been using an umbrella before. This box is great as a space saver in the studio and since the diffusion is only 1/4 stop we gained a little more output. It is still beautiful soft light perfect for head shots as a key light. We love it.

      Comments about Westcott Shallow Softbox 36 x 48" (90.2 x 122 cm):

The large surface area of the box gives a great even light, much like a window. The shallow depth means the light is stronger/brighter as it's not got so far to travel.
I have two of these now as I prefer it over the strip that originally came with it. I use the boxes with two TD6's and the combination is dynamite lighting for my sessions

        Comments about Westcott Shallow Softbox 36 x 48" (90.2 x 122 cm):

The large, shallow box delivers a big surface of soft ligt, but lacks an internal diffuser, so there's definitely a hot spot. I found it easy to put together and easy to handle for its size since it's shallow.
