Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

I've been looking around for a few months for a better strap than the usual manufacturer's straps that come with the camera. I came across this strap and bought it for my main camera. I like it so much I'm getting a second for my backup camera.
I've seen other comments where people say it makes the weight of the camera disappear, I would agree.
I also like the extra length it gives me.

Got a D300 with a Nikkor 24-70 and a grip on the body. That is heavy! This strap makes the weight disappear. Nice!

Most of the photography I do involves wildlife or animals, with alot of hiking. This strap is comfortable with out having the spongy rebound that many of the neoprene ones have. It also keeps my neck cooler in the Arizona sun.

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

I'm long waisted and most straps feel like they are up around my chin, but, this strap is very comfortable with enough adjustment for even very tall people. It stays where I want it to, front back and side.

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

I just received this strap last week and used it on my CAnon 5D MKIII off and on over the weekend. I have never had a strap so comfortable. Carried the camera with a 24-70 lens for several hours without neck pain and 70-200 f2.8 , albeit for much less time, also without pain. And I have arthritis in my neck! It can extend longer than my old Op Tech straps, which suits my style of shooting and carrying very well. I bought the extesion straps too but have yet to need them

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

I haven't used this over long periods of time yet, but my first impressions are that this is an excellent strap. My D3 feels much lighter across my neck, doesn't slide around like with the stock strap, and I like the ability to detach the neck part of the strap. I don't know any reason why I would at this point, but I like knowing I can. :)

I bought this strap because when I travel I hold the camera for long periods of time, with the larger surface the weight is distributed on a bigger area and therefore it is more comfortable. It is well built and the non slip rubber works great. Very good product.

                              I highly recommend this strap!

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

Bought this for my husband and he digs it. I bought it because the strap that came with the camera was too short and not exactly comfortable. It does have a quick release so he really likes that. The cushion on the strap is really good as well. The flap that is added to the strap really helps not mess up your neck.

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

I bought one of these some time ago for the comfortable carry of my Canon 40D and battery of L series lenses, which with rare exception, tend to be a bit on the heavy side when carrying them around all day. I was amazed at how comfortable the strap was around my heck and how surprisingly cool it was as a result of the perforated material. Living in New Orleans, anything you can do to promote COOL is essential, particularly in our more trying months from May thru September. So, when my friends at B&H shipped my new 5D Mk ii, the first accessory that I bought to go with it was another Convenient Disgrace strap, only this time in Beech, to distinguish it from the black one on my 40D. Safe, secure & comfortable. I really like mine.

Very much more comfortable than the strap that came with my Nikon. I like that it can be long enough to ride on one shoulder across the chest in warm weather, a position I find more stable when I am active.

I'm not sure why it has quick release buckles, although they have a safety button so as not to release accidentally. I'd probably prefer it without the plastic buckles, they seem like a weak point. Perhaps if I figure out what they are good for...

I'd also like to see it with a stainless braided cable integrated into the strap for security against knife cuts.

All in all though, I'm glad of the purchase, for now.

this camera strap is elegant. i have been using heavy duty straps that have give to them. this strap does not stretch, has a very comfortable perforated neckband, and double locking strap disconnects. these assets all come to play when you hang some heavier glass and/or vertical grips. the beech color is cool. i liked the first strap so well that i ordered a second for my other camera. the way these straps work you can carry a camera on each side and bring either one up (you do have to make some initial adjustments but once adjusted you can have either camera secure and at your ready) great strap!

Comments about Crumpler Convenient Disgrace Camera Strap (Beech):

An unusual strap. It is odd to look at, but lightweight and very comfortable in use, and it distributes the weight of the camera well without the excessive "give" of a neoprene stretchy strap. The strap also has matching, secure connectors that allow removal of the padded section, leaving a solid handle. That is a big advantage over many other straps. But it is a bit bulky in the bag, unlike many of those other straps.

The Crumplier logo is understated and the "beech" (a sort of taupe) color is inconspicuous.
