I purchased this domke bag after I saw a friend of mine with one. She used it to hold two pro bodies with lenses attached face down (70-200 and another lens samesize can be packed together attached) in the bag with room to spare for flash, 2-3 lenses, extra battery, memory card case and a few other items.
when I received the bag I could not be more pleased. I wanted something lightweight but sturdy without rollers to carry along for portrait work, etc. I did not plan on using this bag for an excursion to the zoo, etc it would be heavy fully packed for a good walk. I have other bags for this.

I love this bag and it is the one I use most at the moment. I leave lenses home that wont be needed and can easily throw this bag in the front seat of the car ready for anything since the lenses of any size up to 300mm 4.0 can be attached to the body , no switching of lenses and missing a shot.

i can downsize the lenses for differnt type of shoots and the bag does not feel too big and bulky . It is made of very sturdy canvas and very well made. it has a belt on the back that can be used with an optional shoulder harness or if tightened can be used to sling over the handles of a rolling travel suitcase. the shoulder strap can be unattached and just the handles used. there are two very good size front pockets that hold my canon 580ex flash or this can be stored in either of the side pockets that have a velcro closure. I looked at other similiar size bags and this one is the ticket.

It stands open by itself, no laying on its side to get to the contents.
It has padded dividers that can be configured if necessary.

Right now I have these items packed in it. 1dmkiii with 70-200 lens atttached facing down. 85L lens and hood. 24-70 lens and hood. 580ex flash . 15mm fisheye , 1.4 tc and misc other small gadgets. it is easy to access and nothing is crammed in.

Love the bag, would highly recommend it to everyone especially if you travel to sports events etc and want a bag with camera and lens ready which can be easily accessed for all your pro bodies and lenses ready to go. I have had numerous bags and still keep a rolling bag for laptop and lenses for some travelling but this is the one that is packed and ready all of the time.

Nice stylish camera bag, good quality but way to small.
It is advertised to carry 2 large film or digital SLR cameras with 4-5 Lenses.
My D3s with or without any lens attached is too big to fit reasonable in any compartment. It will defiantly not hold 5 lenses unless the all fixed 50mm equivalent sized. The compartments do not give you any option to remodel
the inside.

Nice, but could be better

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Sand):

I'm a big Domke fan. This is my fourth Domke bag. I bought this bag so I could carry both a Nikon 24-70 2.8 and a Nikon 70-200 2.8 with bodies attached in a vertical position. If it were another inch deeper it would bit my 70-200 much more securely as the attached body does extend beyond the top of the bag. It has never tipped out but it does make me a little nervous. Also, the bag really needs a pocket on the back that would hold a tablet. It was something I didn't notice before ordering and it may have prevented me from purchasing had I realized. Otherwise, typical solid Domke construction and should last me many years.

NICE!!!

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Sand):

Read a lot of the reviews before buying and I'm glad I didn't pay to much attention to the negative ones. First the bag looks great, it has a pro look and feel to it and it's built like a canvas tank. My gear, 7D MK II with a Canon 100-400L (old version) fits in lens down on one side, it sits up a little above the top of the bag but the lid closes over it with no problem, I put an extra piece of foam in the bottom so that lifts it up a little, 7D with the 24-105L kit lens in the other compartment, a Tokina 11-20 Ultra wide and a Canon 100L Macro in the 2 middle compartments, a little snug but I like snug (took the petal hood off the ultra wide and rested it on top of the lens. Lets see, 4 batteries, 4 different filters (77, 82mm) shutter release, speed light, 4 AA batteries and a partridge in a pair tree. The bag itself is light weight, I was curious so I checked with my luggage scale and loaded it weighed a little over 20lbs, I am going to get the smaller 1 for walk around but to bring a bunch of stuff and look good this bag is great

A Quality Daily Transport Bag

By Steve T

from Coral Springs, FL

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Sand):

Overall, the Domke F-7 Double AF about as big as I care to go in a casual daily bag to transport gear, but not necessarily shoulder pack around for extended periods when holding a Nikon DX3 and several pieces of glass totaling 22 lbs. The largest item normally carried is a Sigma 120-300 2.8 lens in vertical position and usually accompanied by a Nikon 18-300 3.5/5.6 tele-zoom, Nikon 105 2.8 macro, and Sigma 18-50 2.8.
It's well made and appears to be securely stitched, which it should be for the associated price and also being trusted to hold rather expensive gear. The strap loops and clips on the exterior allow attachment of small kits or pouches of cleaning gear or accessory items.
One plus considered in purchasing was those unfamiliar with Domke bags may not readily recognize one in the sand/tan color as a camera bag containing costly bits of photo gear. The only minor annoyance is more use than truly preferred of ubiquitous, noisy Velcro on end flap closures and interior lid pockets.
As a word of caution, perhaps for those more accustomed to gear bags with bulky, padded walls, is the bag itself has no integral padding. Users must be well aware of this in making best use of the padded, removable interior 'buckets' supplied with it and also be mindful to avoid grossly careless handling.

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Sand):

i started with a Domke f-2 in 1985 and its been dragged all over the U.S. its still in really good shape but it was too shallow for my 7D and 17-55 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8. i bought the F-7 because its deep enough but unfortunately its also a bit longer than the f-2...

it really should have velcro on the flap of the lid. that is more than secure enough but easily accessible to other gear when needed. i only used the clips on the f-2 when carrying it from A to B (in the event it got tipped over). the lack of the velcro is the only functional reason for a 4. that and its too long for only one body, 3 lenses and a flash...

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Black):

I was looking for a little bigger shoulder bag to hold all my gear including my 150-500, which just fits in it vertically. At the same time it will easily hold my D7200 with 18-200 lens, plus three to four more lenses. End pockets are also large enough to hold a smaller lens like a 50 or a flash unit. That's a more gear than I would carry around any distance but it's great to get your stuff where you have to go. The mail carrier shoulder pad I ordered separately makes the load very manageable. Very rugged.

I bought this bag to put a Nikon D600 and a Nikon D300s both with battery packs attached. I also have 2 SB-700's and an SB-500 along with 3 zoom lenses and 1 50mm prime lens. All fits nicely and still have room for batteries and other accessories. All that said, the bag is heavy when fully loaded and somewhat of pain drain on the shoulder. Nonetheless it is what I wanted.

I would recommend this bag to anyone wanting a well made bag that should last many many years. Domke is a top of the line bag in both quality and serviceability.

I have always had trouble finding a camera bag that I like. I bought the F7 bag a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. The bag is durable and has proven to be water-proof thus far.

I have 2 camera bodies that I can fit into this bag. I usually have either a 20mm or 37-70mm on them while I store them in the camera-sleeves within the bags. I usually carry along with them an 80-200mm, 50mm and flash. It is snug, but they all manage to fit ok. I love the zipper pocket at the top of the camera bag as well. It fits everything really well.

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Black):

This is my 3rd Domke bag. Whenever I think I'm ready for a new setup I automatically look for the Domke offering that will best get the job done for me. This one is my main wedding bag for 2012 carrying 2 DSLRs with no grip (although it could easily handle it with grips) with lenses. In the middle area I keep my flash and light meter. Of course, the Domke pockets allow me to bring along all the other goodies I need during the course of a shoot.

Domke bags "just work". Period. Comfortable, not loaded down with unnecessary padding, tons of room considering the size and tough. My favorite. Maybe it will be yours, too!

Love all the extra space. The only area that kept it from getting 5 stars are the metal ring clasps that secure the bag closed. I would rather it use the squeeze type plastic claps that are found on Crumpler Bags. Much quicker to get into.

With this bag I can carry plenty of gear so that I'm prepared for any given situation. The sturdy construction of the bag gives me reassurance that the bag will keep my camera and lenses safe. My only complaints are that there is no top access (maybe a zipper. I want easy access to multiple lenses without unclasping the bag. I like the clasps for durability but this causes Access issues when on the fly.

If you (like me) need a bag to carry two Fuji 6x7 or 6x9 film cameras, look no further; this is the bag you need. One camera fits perfectly in each of the two large padded inserts in the main compartment. The two-compartment insert in the middle can then be used to hold a flash unit, film and other accessories.

The bag feels sturdy, but is still quite light. I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone who needs to carry two large cameras.

Comments about F-7 Double AF Bag (Sand):

We needed bags that work while we're on roadtrips. We shoot out of our car(SUV) a lot while driving cross country. Our Tenba and Lowe backpacks take up too much room, and access is too slow with the large, heavy access lids.

The F7 stores my D700, 24-70mm and 70-200mm zooms, 300mm f4, and 12-24mm zoom vertically. I have room in the side pockets for accessories, notepads and pencils. I can carry all my filters in the front two pockets. It is heavy, but other than lugging it to and from my room it takes up very little space in the back with the lid on, or off. The vertical storage makes lens changes easier than a backpack. We also use a Domke F2 for my wife's D90, and three lenses, and a second F2 for flashes, chargers, cleaning gear and other accessories. They are perfect for our 4Runner.

I wish they had fast-release buckles instead of snaps. The short front straps limit the amount of stuff you can put in the front pocket and the length of lenses in the top.

The case is solid, the straps are heavy duty, and I know we'll get many years os use from these bags.

                      Awesome product!

It holds my cleaning supplies (...a lot), 3 lenses (14-24,24-70,70-200mm), D700 body, 3 speedlights (2 sb-600, 1 sb-900), my Singh-Ray ND filter, 32 AA batteries, one charger, and various wires/adapters.

It's small, holds a lot, and is just incredibly constructed.

The compartments do not give you any option to remodel
                        the inside.
