Comments about Formatt Hitech 105mm Threaded Ring for Polarizer or Hood:

Wonderfully made chunk of aluminum to secure your 105 polarizer to the Lucroit/Hitech filter holder. However, it doesn't work properly with the Mod. 100 nylon modular filter holder by Lucroit. (see the photos) The threaded ring is too thick to mount under the nylon tabs on the holder meant to clip over the aluminum ears on the threaded ring. Although it will hold in place with pressure, it's not secure and bends the holder. Can't say how well this works with the aluminum holders, since I don't have one of those. Kudos to B&H for researching this. I hope they can find the proper threaded ring for the nylon holder.

Comments about Formatt Hitech 105mm Threaded Ring for Polarizer or Hood:

If you have the Hitech 100mm modular filter holder, it's not complete without this 105mm front ring. Just as important as accommodating a 105mm polarizer, it lets you add a 105mm lens shade, near-mandatory with uncoated resin filters. I recommend a collapsible rubber shade with an incorporated 105mm threaded front ring, so that you can use a 105mm polarizer simultaneously with the shade. The ring is made of the same nylon material as the spring filter slot spacers and won't seize with aluminum filter mounts.

Comments about Formatt Hitech 105mm Threaded Ring for Polarizer or Hood:

It works as intended. I am in the process of transitioning all my filters to fit on this, and make this a one size fits all for all my landscape lens.
