Great performance with the D7100. After 1 year, and tens of thousands of shots. This battery still performs like new after 1 year. This week I got over 930 shots on one full charge shooting RAW, and a lot of 1080p video. The OEM Nikon Battery of same age and usage gets over 1500 shot on one charge after 1 year. Not bad at all.

Worked great in the camera body, but wouldn't work in the Nikon Battery Grip after the camera was turned off and back on. Reported no power even though fully charged, and the camera wouldn't switch to the camera body battery. Had to remove the Pearstone battery to get it working again. The OEM battery works flawlessly in the grip and body.

Other than that, there was no decernable difference between it and the OEM battery from Nikon.

B&H was good enough to RMA the battery, we'll see if its a faulty battery or a faulty product.

Good for the price ...

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

Got this as a part of the package deal on D750. I am usually leery about 3rd party batteries as sometimes they give inconsistent reading on amount of power remaining, whereby, it shows three bar remaining, then goes dead shortly after. Sometimes, it gives inaccurate shutter clicks, showing a number other than zero even when fully recharged. The Watson Brand is no different and also exhibits similar quirks. Nonetheless, it still works OK for most part and CAN be relied on. Whenever I use the battery grip, I use the Nikon brand in the camera and use the 3rd party batteries in the grip. And always, pack a spare battery if I am using 3rd party Nikon batteries.

Battery seems to perform at or above OEM units

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

I use these batteries to power a Marshall 7" LCD Monitor on my video Rig. I switched battery plates to accommodate the EN-EL15 from an older Nikon DSR battery type. I already use this type of battery in my Nikon D810 and it seems to never even go down during a long Shooting Session. Well it worked! I was getting 2/4 of a Lacrosse game and Consuming 1 whole battery of there older style. We record full time not stopping for anything but 1/2 time. These batteries will last the full game even living the LCD on through Half time!

A solid value considering the cost savings.

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

Despite the Watson battery's slightly higher 2000mAh rating, the actual real-world performance is not quite as good as the OEM Nikon 1900mAh battery.
I bought this battery as a cost effective alternative to the Nikon EN-EL15, to serve as a backup on long shooting assignments in the field. It does a respectably good job. Though battery's endurance isn't quite as good as its OEM counterpart, it's still a solid value considering the cost savings.

Does not work in Nikon D500

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

Hate to give it 3 stars, but do want to feedback to others that this battery (currently) does NOT work in my new D500.  I am keeping the battery as it does work in my older D7000.  Suspect this is Nikon "checking" the battery for validity.

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

It was brought to my attention that my previous review conveyed my having had a negative experience with this product. That is not the case. My experience has been as good as I could expect it to be, purchasing a non-OEM battery. The Watson version doesn't hold a charge for as long as the Nikon version, and the lifespan of the battery itself is shorter. However, the Watson replacement is far more inexpensive. My message was that YES this is without a doubt a worthwhile purchase. I've found Watson to be one of the better battery manufacturers of non-OEM batteries over the last 7+ years. The 'bad' brands start dying after appx 1 year. The Watson batteries should be like new for at least 3 years. In that time, I'll replace the battery if my updated camera takes the same model battery. And if it needs a different battery then it won't matter. So yes, Watson OEM-replacement battries. Yes.

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

It's a typical knock-off battery. It doesn't hold nearly the charge that the OEM battery does, and the lifespan of the battery I'm sure will be much shorter. Is this a worthwhile buy, though? It seems to be, yes.
