Great performance with the D7100. After 1 year, and tens of thousands of shots. This battery still performs like new after 1 year. This week I got over 930 shots on one full charge shooting RAW, and a lot of 1080p video. The OEM Nikon Battery of same age and usage gets over 1500 shot on one charge after 1 year. Not bad at all.

Worked great in the camera body, but wouldn't work in the Nikon Battery Grip after the camera was turned off and back on. Reported no power even though fully charged, and the camera wouldn't switch to the camera body battery. Had to remove the Pearstone battery to get it working again. The OEM battery works flawlessly in the grip and body.

Other than that, there was no decernable difference between it and the OEM battery from Nikon.

B&H was good enough to RMA the battery, we'll see if its a faulty battery or a faulty product.

Won't hold a full charge after 1 year

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

B&H threw this in when we bought the D810.  The Watson battery has been alternated with the Nikon battery, so each has been charged about an equal number of times.  After about a year the Watson battery seemed to stop charging fully.  Now (at a year and a half) it makes the charger go into "fault" mode (rapid blinks).  This was a waste of money.  Just buy another Nikon brand battery.

Worked great for a year. Compatibility issue?

By Jimin

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

The battery worked great for about a year. However, after just past a year of its age, the battery is not recognized by the camera (D750), and the camera keeps displaying low battery sign at its full charge. When removed and re-inserted, the problem goes away about 50% of the time, though it seems that it's getting worse and worse lately, and I have to re-insert the battery 3-4 times to get it to work. Once it is recognized, the battery works to its full extent.

Works just fine as 2nd battery in the MB-D16 grip for my D750. Came free as part of the D750 kit I purchased from B&H Photo.

I have several Nikon bodies, most using the E-EL 15 battery. This is the third Watson EN-EL 15 replacement battery I have had. It performs as well as the stock Nikon battery, and cost less.

This battery only lasted about a year. Now it won't hold a charge. For the price, you're far better off getting the real Nikon battery.

MB-D15 Fails with aftermarket batteries.

Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

I purchased two Nikon D7100's from B&H as upgrades to my D90's. The cameras came with a free Watson battery. I decided to put both Watson's in my backup 7100 and the Nikon batteries in my primary camera.
Whenever I used he backup the camera was dead, even with fully charged batteries. I removed the MB D15 grip and the camera powered up. When the grip was put back on all was well. I swapped out the Watson's with the primary camera and the problem moved to the primary. I noticed that another reviewer has the same problem using Pearlstone batteries. I purchased Nikon batteries and the problem disappeared. Lesson learned, don't buy this aftermarket junk. I've dealt with B&H since they had a small shop in NYC on 50th st. years ago. I am disappointed that they even sell this junk. I really have no complaint because they were free. The Nikon batteries are $48 each but the cameras are performing very well now.

I have not had good luck with Watson. I have a charger which fries two Nikon OEM batteries and now a sub par replacement for the EL-15. Back to OEM Nikon. Watson has cost me more in replacements than any savings I originally had.

    Comments about Watson EN-EL15 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.0V, 2000mAh):

Personally, I prefer to stick with the original, Nikon-brand batteries, but this was included free with my D810. This is an excellent battery and works perfectly. It is obviously much cheaper than the Nikon battery. If you need an extra battery and don't want to pay the additional money for the comfort of using an original Nikon battery, get this. These are the best third party batteries available.

Purchased two of these at one time, one failed within the first wedding I shot. The second battery has been in use for about 9 months and only holds a charge for about an hour and a half approximately 100 images. I'm going back to OEM.
