Perfect accessory for my cameras

Have it on my Phase One medium format and my Canon DSLR's. I always get loads of compliments on my Vulture Straps and everyone asks where to get one. Love them

I just recently purchased an A4 earlier in January and finally was able to get it attached to my camera. I would say that the product is well built and comfortable but it is way to bulky/heavy for an everyday strap. My other dislike is the lack of instructions for attaching it to my camera, for almost $ I would expect instructions of some sort. It's a good product but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Comments about Vulture Equipment Works A4 1.75" Camera Strap with Aluminum Quick-Release Adjuster (Black Webbing with Gray Stitching and Red Loops):

There's a previous review on this product that I found amusing. The reviewer in question said that the strap itself was "dorky".

This is not a strap for the photography enthusiast unless, of course, you have use for an item that allows you to quickly swap from one configuration to the next. This isn't something that you throw onto your 60D as a vanity item; it is a modular attachment that has proven itself and its features as being irrefutably valuable.

As a commercial photographer, I spend most of my time with a dedicated strobe setup and operate only one camera. There are plenty of occasions, however, where I have different loadouts depending on the situation. If I'm shooting a sporting event, for example, I will have a Black Rapid shoulder harness with my 1DXII on the right and my 5DIV on the left. If I'm shooting studio or don't have the need for both super-wide and telephoto focal lengths then I operate a single camera (my 1DXII). If I am at an event where I require on-camera flash then I have a B2 mounted to a PMG Boomerang flash bracket (which is heavy as, mind you). The point is, there are several times when a loadout demands a support system other than a simple camera strap whether you shoot as a photographer, videographer, or both (so mounting to a Steadicam or a tripod can prove unwieldy with a camera strap attached). Having this strap solves the issue of constantly attaching and reattaching the camera strap.

Again, I will stress that this is not a vanity strap; it's not cute and it absolutely WILL look dorky if you have it on your Rebel whilst shooting your daughter's birthday party. If you have the need for quickly swapping between setups and doing so with a strap that is infamously rugged and reliable (not to mention wildly comfortable) then this strap is an absolute must.

NOTE: REMOVE STRAP FROM CAMERA WHEN STOWING. THE METAL COMPONENTS WILL BEAT YOUR CAMERA TO DEATH.

Heavy and Dorky!

Comments about Vulture Equipment Works A4 1.75" Camera Strap with Aluminum Quick-Release Adjuster (Black Webbing with Gray Stitching and Red Loops):

I thought this strap was cool, but quickly realized cool doesn't cut it. It is bulky and heavy and my daughter said it looked super dorky. That was enough for me! Seriously though, my camera was on the table and the strap moved and shifted off the table....it literally started pulling the camera across the table and it would have fallen had I not been there. Also, the carabiners would have to scratch a camera up, particularly if you keep your camera in a bag.

Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. I replaced the metal carabiners for hard plastic ITW Grimlocks in order to prevent the metal carabiners from accidentaly scratching my camera or lens when I put it away or store it in my holster bag

Comments about Vulture Equipment Works A4 1.75" Camera Strap with Aluminum Quick-Release Adjuster (Black Webbing with Gray Stitching and Red Loops):

Quality - Top notch materials and workmanship.
Functionality and Flexibility - The design allows for limitless flexibility. I was looking for a solution allowing for a range of applications from that of a simple shoulder sling to a hiking application allowing for attachment to a backpack. Additionally, I was looking for a solution to accommodate a range of lenses from small primes to large zooms. This product offers an elegantly simple solution allowing for a large breadth of applications.

I use it for my Sony 500mm/f4 tele lens and it makes carrying the lens around much more comfortable and thanks to the quick release I do not have to lift the strap over my head, when I want to set the lens down or use it on a tripod

I purchased the A4 a 3/16/15. Rugged, overbuilt, heavy duty. No modifications needed! Two days after receiving the A4, B&H placed the A2 on sale at[$]. How I have both of these "B**stards"!Outstanding Products!

Mick Jagger will now friend me on Facebook.
Just wearing it on YouTube I go viral.
Instant Howard Hughes - just add aeroplane.
Old Spice has nothing on me ...
... except the new, awkward, son commercial thing.

        Phenomenal camera strap as well.
