Comments about Benro A38T Classic Aluminum Monopod with S2 Head:

I used this product to film a birthday party. It was very helpful because of the way it kept my camera balanced. It has a small footprint so it did not cause a space problem with people stepping over one of the legs. The price was also a factor. Good value per Dollar. It is a little heavy and when you are carrying multiple pieces of equipment one more thing is noticeable.

Comments about Benro A38T Classic Aluminum Monopod with S2 Head:

The Benro A38T with S2 head is a great little monopod for the money. It's not as light as some more-expensive monopods, but it's still a great tool for getting steady shots when you need to move from shot to shot quickly. And the S2 head has some very nice, smooth motion. The tilt and pan resistance knobs let you set how much drag you want on those motions, so you're not limited to a factory-set drag limit.

Comments about Benro A38T Classic Aluminum Monopod with S2 Head:

It is excellent for video, and even to photograph.
    Built this well
is lightweight and easy to carry.
    excellent choice for travel.
the head is removable, so you can switch to another to go with what you're doing.
It is excellent for panning, thanks to the sphere at the bottom.

I recommend it to anyone looking for a functional monopod and not have any money to spend one more expensive.

Comments about Benro A38T Classic Aluminum Monopod with S2 Head:

      This thing is INCREDIBLE!

I basically stopped using my tripod. It also doubles as a stabilizer where I've gotten some really cinematic movements on NON-STABILIZED shots!

Extermely well made and I could not be more happy!

Comments about Benro A38T Classic Aluminum Monopod with S2 Head:

I think this is great if you are looking for a videography solution that allows you to shoot steady but fast on your feet.
I use this with a DSLR with LED light and microphone reciever...not really heavy but def not light to use it handheld 6 hours.
I bought this exclusively to use at fashion week. I didn't want to spend more than $150 BUT needed also a fluid head. Manfroto was out of the question and this was the best choice.
It is amazing...really does the job, it's pretty light (lighter than the manfrotto anyways)and feel great.
The only downside is some details on the head...to lock the baseplate on place, you cannot turn the knob more than one 180º because it hits the camera body. Same when trying to arrange the head handle (I barely used it anyways)

Unless you have a videocamera such as an ex1 o hvx, don't bother to buy the S4 Head.

              Go for it!
