This is my second bag from Lowepro, the first was a Lowepro Mini which is a very good case but I needed something bigger, with capability of binding it over the shoulder. I took Zoom 2 for mountain tracking. When you carry backpack and need fast access to you camera without putting off everything from your shoulders. Now Lowepro Zoom 2 is my main case for the camera, it's enough for my D80 with kit 18-135, and there is still enough place for another lens like, for example, twice nikkor 35/1.8. Pocket is convenient to store wallet, keys, document, camcorder etc. It's very comfortable in travels or trips.
With this bag I walk under the rain and the water doesn't harm the content of the bag. Once I fall into a mountain river with my Lowepro Mini. After it I opened the case and saw - the camera was safe. After this I can say: " I trust Lowepro cases". Hurrah!

This is a well-constructed, good-looking bag, and I use it for walking around with my 40D. However, the idea that it has "room underneath for a mid-sized zoom lens" is a bit of a stretch. With either my Canon 28-135 or Sigma 18-200 (both about 5.5 inches long), there really isn't much room for anything at the bottom, except perhaps your wallet or your lens hood. I can't see fitting even a small prime (like the 50mm) down there without mashing everything together. Perhaps with a smaller-bodied DSLR and reversing the sling straps you might get it to work, but as is, I think I'll be looking for a Slingpack soon.

Comments about Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera Holster Bag - Black:
This is the second Lowepro bag I've gotten. Has good padding. Is a bit larger than I had wanted but has extra pockets for gear and is deep enough for my long lense, but not big enough for carrying an extra lense.

Comments about Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera Holster Bag - Black:
I'm generally happy with it but the one thing I'd change was giving it a wider strap. It can get pretty heavy carrying it around and a wider strap would help balance that weight. Otherwise, fine!

This is a very convenient camera bag...my only suggestion would be to have small pockets on the side for filters, and other small objects.

It fits a Canon Rebel DSLR body, a 70-200F4 and a 17-50mm if arranged properly. It is moderately padded. Accessories can go into the outside pocket and the compartment on the inside of the lid. It is light
Would like to see some more padding

Comments about Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera Holster Bag - Black:
The price point is great and the bag is well padded and lightweight. Very functional and expandable pockets. This is a minimalist bag that can fit a zoom or an extra lens. I like the versatility the bag offers while not being too gigantic. Fits full size SLR and the basics for a hike or the like... leave the big bag at base camp :)
Only improvement I would wish for is waterproofing, but for under 20 bucks I doubt that will ever happen!

Comments about Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera Holster Bag - Black:
Great bag. Easily fits my Canon XSi with battery grip attached. Plenty of room even with the 55-250mm lens attached. Carries everything I need for a full day on the trail. Well padded and excellent protection for my camera. Easy to carry. Easy access. Not too bulky. At [$] it was a steal and a no brainer.

Comments about Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera Holster Bag - Black:
This bag just fits a body and Canon 70-200 lens (with strap folded up and placed along side of body) In addition it has a large outside pocket (no padding on pocket) that can hold probably any hot shoe flash. It is the smallest bag that you would fit these three items. Con: The strap hardware is all plastic. Overall a good value for the money.

This is an excellent bag for those days when only one camera body is needed. It will hold additional smaller lenses, plus all needed accessories.

Excellent product. Holds D90 and 18-200 mm lens with ease (some extra room too, incl lens hood). Great for walks and short trips. Solid construction. Very durable. Good price. Only thing would add/change is more velcro inside to make stabilizer bars even more adjustable. Overall though, highly recommended.

This is a nice bag for my Nikon D300S especially if I wanted to carry a long lens. It has enough room for my SB-600 flash as well.

I required a bag to take my camera and one 300mm lens as I required it for a hike. I did not want to carry my backpack and large lens. This bag allows for a 300mm lens and one smaller lens. There is plenty of space for a few extras and a comfortable bag to carry.

This is the second one I've purchased. I have the smaller model that carries a dslr with a smaller lens. This bag carries another dslr with a 75-300mm lens. I have removed the straps and I attach the bags to my backpack with carabiners. The system works very well as I hike through the White Mountain National Forest.

Comments about Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera Holster Bag - Black:
I bought this item for those times of which there are many (for me at least) when I know that I will be shooting with a single lens such as at soccer, baseball, and lacrosse events where I use a Nikon D50 with a 70-300mm zoom lens and where I am wandering all around the edge of the playing field. I want a case that is light, easy to carry and is weather tight. I don't want to or need to lug my gadget bag with everything in it everywhere I go. I rig my camera with the appropriate lens, leave the gadget bag behind in the car or wherever, and just take what I need in the Zoom 2.
I bought the Zoom 2 unit rather than the Zoom 1 unit just to be sure that my long lens would fit which it and the camera do very nicely with room to spare. The side pocket has plenty of room for an extra battery, fiters, polarizer, extra memory cards, or even a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight although that is a tight fit. In the main pocket, there is certainly room to stack two shorter lenses - one on the camera and one below it and the case comes with a pad to do this. Since I bought the case to use mainly with my 70-300 zoom I haven't tried this for an actual shoot, but have determined that it can be done quite easily.
The case is light but well put together with both a shoulder strap and a hand carrying strap which I find convenient. The camera and lens rest in a well padded volume. I have had the case out in the rain and it does appear to be water resistant as advertised. For me, the Zoom-2 case has made my life much easier. I highly recommend it, particularly if you don't need to haul a lot of lenses around for a particular shoot and want to travel light.

For a Mamiya 7II with 150mm lens, and hood attached, the hood just touches the bottom of the bag.
