Overall excellent cutter. The only problem I came across was that the arm that goes out to keep a right angle and for measurement, was slightly off and has no support. Other then that very easy to use and works well.

[...] I'm using this medium-size cutter to learn how to mat and frame my own stuff. The stops are fantastic; with a ruler, you never over-cut. The video tutorials (hosted on YouTube) are more than good enough to get you going. The quality is amazing; this is a very sturdy cutter that I expect to last a very long time. The only downfalls that I can see are that this thing is a tad bulky, the box isn't good for storage, and it might be too small for the rare over-size project.

I have used this on about 20 pictures so far including 20"x30" prints. The squaring arm makesnit easy to deal with 32"x40" mat boards. No problems so far. Well built.

I purchased the 750 to cut mat boards for my daughter who is starting her own photographic and digital arts business. I plan on doing the mats and the frames. She attended Brooks Insitute of Photography in Santa Barbara and she said this is the exact mat cutter they used with the exception that their's was a little larger.
I'm impressed with the quality of the product and while I have not cut many mats to date, it does do an excellent job.
