This cable solved an unusual problem I needed to solve. I needed to take an XLR output out of my Babyface pro and go into an input. That was a mini plug. The standard cables weren't working and I apparently needed an unusual cable that was wired for mono going into the mini plug on a small speaker. I'm sorry that I don't exactly remember the name of the salesman who was so helpful but it was either Ira or Eli. He had the knowledge to figure out exactly what was causing the issue and suggest the perfect cable when several other people weren't able to. He also took the time to follow up with me and make sure everything was working. B&H has been a valuable trusted resource for years.
I purchased these cables in July/09 when they were $10 each like all the others. 1 of the 4 made it past the 1/2 way point in the school year. Granted my students will do things they shouldn't like wrap the cable around the mic, etc. but habits don't change and I've had previous cables last much longer. I'm going back to Comprehensive.
