These little teeny lights are great with the octaplus when used in tandem with tubular mogul based bulbs. They really fill the bag making for a large even source. They are a little awkward to work with and get extremely hot, but otherwise pretty great for the size.

Is this bulb dimmable?
The bulb by itself is not dimmable. The fixture in which the bulb is used must have a dimmer feature, or you must purchase a dimmer such as either the ARRI Digital Dimmer - 1800 Watts (90-130VAC), B&H # ARD1800, and Impact D1000 1,000W AC Dimmer Control (110-120V), B&H # IMD1000, for your dimming needs.

This should work with the Starlite QL, but this isnt LED, its tungsten halogen
