You can't get any better for the price. This is an essential piece for your gaffer, grip, or filmmaking kit. It's reusable, a multipurpose tool, and fits easily in any bag for travel. A Must!

The perfect solution for a quick fix gobo or flag when I shoot interior architectures. It is strong with good pliable thickness to stay in the shape I need to shape and focus the light where I need it.

Great accessory to have for lighting. You can see in the attached still from a video how I achieved a pure black background with one light, a piece of foam board for reflector and black wrap around the light. This came out great and it was my first time trying to get a pure black background.

This stuff is great for shaping light; making snoots and all kinds of other items, like cookies, or a fancy hat. Matte black is a good thing, too.

It's heavy duty and like aluminum foil, it forms to whatever your crimping it on to. But it can be sharp, so use caution . . . or gloves.

I made a cookie for a Tota frame and it works great. Save your pieces.

This item is under valued. It is far more durable than anticipated and can be used over and over with minimal waste if properly stored. Great product!

It might feel a little bit thinner than the last stuff I was using, but it bends like aluminum foil and blocks light. What more can I ask?

I learned of the existance of black wrap while attending the Center for Digital Imaging at Boston University. I found this product to be very useful for a variety of applications, most notably creating snoots.

Use this foil as improvised flags & gobo's. I had expected it to be thicker. It is adequate, but would be better if it wouldn't tear as easily.

This product is the workhorse of all lighting sets. It's flexible, yet solid and forms well, holding its shape. I'm very satisfied with this. We use it on location outdoors, inside and outside the studio on all our shoots. I'd never shoot without it around. Very good product and price.

Must have, use this product alot perfect for lights without barn doors so you can controll light much better, also great for blocking out anything reflecting off of shiny surfaces. Had a light relecting off a picture put some blackwrap on the side of the light and reflection was gone.

For the price this roll of black rap is the way to go. The build of the material is strong and long lasting. Once a piece is separated from the roll and used you can fold it up for many future jobs.

This size is perfect for small to medium sized lighting setups. You can also double up for extra width.

Overall an essential part of any cinematographers kit for controlling light.

I use blackwrap with fresnels to create light splashes and patterns. Cut or tear the desired pattern and clip the blackwrap onto the barndoors. Great cheap way to create background patterns.
