The Domke OutPack Dri-Safe All-Weather Case is a compact, protective carrying case designed to keep photo and electronic equipment, travel items and accessories dry, cushioned and clean. The case is constructed with a waterproof Hydro-Lock liner layered between durable 420 Denier pack cloth on the outside and water-resistant ripstop nylon on the inside. It has closed cell foam between the fabric layers that provides protective cushioning and shock absorption for fragile equipment. The case can be used to safeguard equipment and other valuables when hiking, traveling, boating or on assignment anywhere, in any weather. The OutPack Dri-Safe case is made in U.S.A.

- Floats, when properly sealed, with contents up to 1 lb (not intended for prolonged submersion).

Over three summers, I used this bag to safeguard a digital camera while canoeing. Several times the case has been immersed in water with no leakage. There are many other such bags but this bag has two advantages over most others. First, it is padded to protect the contents. Secondly it has shoulder straps. Great bag but I no longer use it.
I found that it took too much time to open the bag to get my camera. I would miss the image. So I purchased a waterproof Canon D10 which is always ready for action. As much as I liked this bag, the D10 is a much better solution.

Works great. I can slide my cell phone and small wallet in the mesh pouch in the front and go. The only disadvantage is that I had gotten a battery pack to fit on the bottom of my camera, and it won't fit with that on there in the main compartment.
