Manfrotto 3157N Rectangular Quick Release Plate (RC2 System) with 1/4-20" Screw
The Bogen 3157N Rectangular Mounting Plate is the replacement quick release plate for all heads that use the RC2 (3157N) system. The plate comes with a 1/4"-20 camera screw, and it works together with 35mm and standard thread-mounted medium format cameras.

Pretty simple, if your tripod uses this plate it's kind of a must have.
Get one for each camera and tripod collar, maybe a spare too.

Product is very sturdy, I liked that it had the pin for added stability so it doesn't let the lens move around. You can also take the pin out if you don't need it.

If you are absent minded or prone to Murphy's law of "If it can go wrong, it will" you are in danger of losing a quick release plate. This small dollar investment can save a lot of heart-ache, and maybe a client, so for the price, it pays to have an extra quick release plate around.
